The good news is, the World Series is over. (Doubly good, since the Yankees won. ) So time that could go to processing won't be spent in front of the tv now.

The bad news is, I'm buying a house today at 3:30. (Hmm, ok, only bad for Aesir. Sorta good for me. But, since that means going into debt beyond my wildest dreams for the next few decades, I guess it's kind of a "good news/bad news" in itself. Heh) Which means I'll be doing a lot of moving. Particularly this weekend. Processing will be at a minimum.


However, I'm processing at the moment. We'll see when I get a minute here and there.

I think I know what I want to do, so just let me know when the next turn is due.

That might be a while. Odin really likes the self-teasing approach to these games. He likes to sit around THINKING about the next turn... endlessly planning the future.

And he seems to think we're all the same as him. So he's not actually in a big rush to GET to the next turn.

(I have a bet running with myself, to find out how much smack I can talk OOC before he starts taking it out on my character. Anyway, I'm just jealous because he gets to buy a house, and I'll have to wait at least a year before I can.)

Totally agree. The hope is to be able to do it sooner. But there's enough other stuff going on that is more urgent, financially. Even if it'll end up costing me more on the house, later.

I hear that they're going to extend First Time Buyer loans to a person's second house, actually. That opens up whole new realms of options.

I should, perhaps, be talking to a realtor now.

Oh! So that's why turn 12 events are showing as new as of today.

My continued apologies. Moving is a big project, eh? I did some more insulating in the attic yesterday, and moved most of the big furniture. Today is sheetrock in the attic. Maybe a little more moving.

I've been on only a few times in the last few days, for short periods. Enough to make quick, easy posts in the Close, but not enough for this. Mainly because the computer and internet are still at the old house. I'm there now, paying bills online. But it's getting switched over Saturday (between 8am and noon), so maybe I can do something this weekend. Hopefully Sunday evening, in particular. But we'll see... Hang in there, though! It's Aesir's longest turn, but we'll get back on track soon!


I ALSO have the COOLEST story about the moving!!!!! I don't have time to do it justice now, so I'm not gonna try. When I can, I'll make a thread about it in Gen Dis. (Unless Damelon wants to give a little info first. Up to him. hehe)
