Is Gabriel your peer? I thought he was my peer, and we're both your lessers.

They're both male nobles, of a higher caste than Andrea herself. And in a way, business partners. Of course Garrius may have meant to cause offense with the term, inferring that because of her manners, Andrea does not apply as 'noble material' at all. *awaits tears*

^ That was the other option I didn't want to mention for fear of offending Garrius. *awaits manly tears of violence*

"Why do you cry?"
"He is Conan. He will not cry; so I cry for him."

When Garrius cries, he uses the violence to inspire tears in you...and you do the crying for him.

Editing my post. Now a little less cutting.

Aha, finally, my quote comeuppance.

"He is Conan, Cimmerian, he won't cry; so I cry for him."

But nothing on:

"Conan! What is best in life?" "TO CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES...SEE THEM DRIVEN BEFORE YOU, AND TO HEAR THE LAMENTATION OF THEIR WOMEN."

Crom laughs at your four winds. He laughs from his mountain.

I did pretty good from memory, from a movie I haven't seen in a couple years.

I thought the same for my Star Wars quote, but my uppance did come.

Lore...don't tempt me into wasting my life.

As I'm in Sydney this week doing some research at the Aust Museum, there won't be any updates from me until Monday night. My apologies. Lore, feel free to start your own adventure. Text me if you need your own thread (probably a good idea), but let me know location etc.

I saw Ian Mckellan in Waiting for Godot at the Sydney Opera House last night. Great performance. All the players were as captivating as each other, but there was something surreal about seeing an old hobo climbing a castle wall and thinking 'holy shit, that's Ian Mckellan'. Great play.

And I am struggling to stay out of the Conan quotes . . . seriously. I'd be here quoting Conan until an age undreamed of.

Ha, when I get my shit sorted and free up time so I can keep up to date, something has to happen to keep the game slow :P

...a Hyborian age?

But seriously, you're right. The quotes must stop.

Keep it up, and I shall have to crucify you on the tree of woe...

To speed things up when I return, could Andrea and Garrius perhaps let me know how they intend to escape? You can assume that the pit is still open, and looks to go down into near darkness. A drop would probably kill someone, but there may be other ways to do this...
