I was at a conference. And I'm involved trying to jump start a forum that was abruptly shut down by the owners, much to the disappointment of the members, who are regrouping elsewhere and trying to find all our lost sheep.

So to speak.

Thanks. One of the admins has doing the bulk of the work, organizing subforums and threads. The rest of us admins and mods are trying to figure out how everything works, make up some basic rules for use of the forum, and figure out how to split up the work.

We were all pretty annoyed that a forum we enjoyed basically disappeared overnight with no warning at all.

a forum that Julie & I belonged to for Vincent Donofrio still exists. but no one posts there anymore. I sometimes drop by to see if it is still there.

it is where I found out about the Watch. for a time it was a great site. all women, save me. but a great group. we are still in touch with only one of them now. a woman from England.

it is sad to see the site, all but abandoned. Julie won't look. but it is some sort of compulsion for me.

No one posts at Ahira's Hangar anymore, either. It's rather sad. Every so often I check in and see a check in post from Stevie G.

I know...it's in my speed dial tab, and I feel guilty every time I look at it.

Yeah, of course I'm on the back up forum

And feeling guilty won't make that AH forum come back to life.
Even danlo doesn't post there anymore.

And the duchess has dropped out of sight, though I still see her on FB.
