Well, I was going to say I had a dream I was missing an arm.

So how did I get put in charge of toting about your severed arm?

I dunno. You were the one who dreamed you were toting it about.
Purvy army fancier.

I had a dream the other night about a lot of different, brightly colored snakes, which didn't look anything like any of the ones that I own. In fact, one of them was trying to eat my favorite boa. Very disturbing, but speaking of which, I have to check on his dinner, it should be ready about now.

Are you worried about protecting your home and family? Is there a danger to your way of life?

No, though I realize for most people, images of serpents, represent danger, or some kind of deception, but I have never, in my life, viewed them as such. Usually when I dream of snakes or other reptiles, it stands as something that is either hidden from me, or that I just don't see clearly yet.

I was focusing on the "different" aspect of the snakes, and the fact that one of them was trying to eat your boa. But you know yourself better than I do.

Another dream in the
Borderlands setting last night. This one much more to my liking.
It would give away too much detail about my faction to post though.

I had an odd "time-travel" dream from last week that I still think about. This is different from dreams in which I "re-live" my earlier years (school for example). This time, I was aware that I was going back in time - back to the 1970's. Yeah, sorry to disappoint - I know you were hoping for maybe 1000 B.C. but, alas, my brain had other intentions.
I was actually back in Winnipeg in the '70s and getting on the bus, and suddenly realizing that I had '08 bus tickets and money in my pocket. Aaaah! Would the bus driver notice? Would I cause some freaky tear in the fabric of time? Whew, thankfully he let me on without incident.
So it was a sunny day, and I rode the bus for what seemed a long time, and it was going fast. The bus driver was just flooring it for some reason. At some point, it dawned on me that we were passing through a city that was changing rapidly. The day was suddenly darker and there were storm clouds. Huge crowds were in the streets. A MacDonald's passed by...but it was in the form of a Japanese temple. I could see other larger edifices in the distance that made me feel uneasy somehow. Somewhere around this point I woke up.

I had a long, drawn out dream about ancient Egypt last night, even though I only slept about 3 hours. Strange that these are the only dreams that I'm not quite sure who I'm supposed to be in the dream. I think sometimes I'm only a spectator.

I dreampt I was at some sort of gathering with a really random group of people, the ones I remember were all famous, but I don't remember specific people, and I don't remember the event. Like you, I had difficulty sleeping, and ended up falling asleep on the couch and maybe getting 4-5 hours of very easily disturbed sleep.

I hate getting my sleep that way, if I fall asleep with the TV on, the sounds usually end up somehow incorporated into my dreams, which has caused some ferocious nightmares in the past, so I try not to do that.

Hmm...nice double post, First! Hey, it's Marilyn Monroe. It's all good.

Er, thanks, Cov. Too bad I can't make a novel out of it. A short anime film, on the other hand...
