Dictionary, or thesaurus?

I like both, but I can get lost in a thesaurus for hours. Roget's Descriptive Word Finder is one of my favorites.
Dragons or dinosaurs?

Oooh. this is difficult.
Think I have to go with... dinosaurs.
umm... teleportation or telepathy?

by Sorus
Teleportation. Telepathy might be useful sometimes, but most of the time I really don't want to know what people are thinking. And it'd be downright nightmarish if you couldn't turn it off at will.
Bagels or muffins?

Coffee-flavored muffins with chocolate chips in them. (haven't had one in a long time.)
though bagels are yum, too!
Chickens or ducks?

Ducks, because they're so cute when they go bottoms-up to feed on plants below the water line. Duck butts!
Thunderstorm or drizzle?

Thunderstorm. With hail and wind and rain and whatnot. I really should move somewhere that has more interesting weather, though the downside to that is the other half of the extreme. The sun is not my friend.
Train or airplane?

Sails or Go-fast Boats?

Depends if there is a toilet on the boat. But I would probably prefer a sailboat if bathroom visits are not an issue.
Death by drowning or burning at the stake?

Only you, Cag...

Drowning. I blister too easily.
Real candles or the LED kind?

Real candles. It always surprises me just how much heat can accumulate from a just a few candles.
Would you rather wake up to find all your teeth have fallen out, or wake up to find all your hair has fallen out?

Rather lose the hair for sure!
I -have- had all my hair fall out (though it wasn't all in a single night) and though I sure missed my eyebrows, I'm way more horrified at the thought of losing teeth. (all of them?!?)
aliantha-
All along the backwater,
Through the rushes tall,
Ducks are a-dabbling,
Up tails all!
Cockatoo or macaw? <3

As tempted as I am by wanting to make a cock joke, macaw is much more fun to say in a parrot-like voice.
Death by strangulation or beheading?

Beheading.
I'd rather run around for a minute or two like a, what a minute a lot like a, headless chicken than that of a slow eye-popping, black-tongued, gurgling, kicking and screaming strangulation.
Cooked in a big black pot and eaten by cannibals or sacrificed on an Aztec alter?
Posted: Wed Jul 06, 2016 2:27 pm
by Cagliostro
Sacrificed. Seems quicker.
Let's go a bit more existential.
Ending up in a Buddhist hell (a temporary super bad place), or being "left behind" (the Rapture happens and you do not ascend). And on this question, you must suppose both could honestly happen, so no fair saying "doesn't matter, both are fictitious."

Doesn't matter, both are ficticious

I'll take my chances with the third option.
A trip in a time machine or through a Stargate?

Stargate. No guarantee where I'd end up in the past. Might be ugly.
Mirror or ceasure?

I had that dream recently!! It wasn't all of them, it was all on one side. I read years ago that losing teeth in a dream is about life feeling out of control. Duh!!! Only always.
Mirror. Caesures sound too crazy-making.
Firefly, or the X-Files?

Firefly. (I don't think I ever saw the X-Files.)
Chicken pox or measles?
Posted: Sat Jul 09, 2016 7:28 pm
by Sorus
Neither? Please? I'd say chicken pox, but I don't know if I had it when I was young, and I know a couple of people who recently got it as adults and it's seriously not fun. But then, measles definitely sucks too, so I guess I'll stick with chicken pox. Do Not Want.
I could take this in a more pleasant direction, but why?
Appendicitis or kidney stones?
