I shall do my best. It was good meeting you as well!
On a side note, what's the Facebook page called? My search for Kevin's Watch humorously turned up "Kevin Watch Us" (which is apparently a Chinese watch vendor) and "Kevin Swatch" (a person with an unfortunate name).
is the group still existant? because it is no longer on my list of groups.

Ussusimiel named you for your pink nightgown? He must have had a busy weekend!

Well...Jenn would agree with me about him being a good-looking fellow.
Before you begin concocting any fantasies involving ur-viles, however, I must disappoint by telling it was all very chaste. We shared some space to cut down room costs in Santa Fe. He was very gentlemanny about everything.
Seriously, though, had you come, I would've suggested the same concerning my Albuquerque accommodation. I found myself sleeping sideways in the humongous bed at one point; waaay too much luxury and terrain for a scrawny, short Finn.
Although, I do wonder if you might be up to a nano-scaled Scandifest at some point? It takes about an hour for me to fly to Stockholm and there should be direct routes to Göteborg as well.
Ananda wrote:Did you show them how to celebrate midsommar?
Alas, for some reason danlo did not allow me to build a massive bonfire on his back yard.

Nor did he have the proper phallic midsommarstång erected to grace the neighborhood!

I was very happy to extend out eFest for another weekend of having Uss and Ellen over for all too brief of time. Desmond is still wanting Mike to come back and play videogames with him (as I'm currently the only one who does so). And besides, I learned that "harrier" is more than just the name of a jet.
And yes, for some reason Ellen and I never had much contact during the eFests we have both been to. Never was it more clear than when she came that she had been purposely avoiding me, because she wouldn't look at me all night while we were chatting. I joke, and she was a delight to finally spend some time with. I honestly don't know what kept us from talking until now other than a few seconds at a time, although there are several others that I seemed to have that same thing with during the last couple of fests. I am typically shy around new people, and if they don't take the reins right away, I'm not sure what to do other than make strange noises, which usually causes me to be ostracized in most circles. Thankfully there is the looney contingent on Kevins Watch that accept me as is.

He appeared to fancy those delicate floral designs and soft pastels more than I did. Once when I napped in my full granite armor and employed the huge flint shield as a pillow, too exhausted to shed the entire gear off, he stole the deplorable garment from my luggage and would not part from it.

We just got into Vegas........baby.......... Its 111 degrees in the shade. Staying at this crazy place called Excalibur. Surreal....... well more than 5000 rooms.
Anyway I will catch everyone up tonight when I put up the pics. Right now I am tired, sweaty and hungry. I can't speak for my travel companion but I suspect the same.
VEGAS, BABY!

Turn right, come northwest...both of you. Now.
When will you be in a better position to make it to the Pacific Northwest? Long discussed...yet not yet acted upon. So close, compared to where your journey began.
In the words of Mr. Singer's wife, "Make It Sew!"

Considering who lorin's travel companion is, "are you out of your freekin gord" (sic) is probably the exactly correct question.
Nevertheless, their course does not lie deeper into the Southwest. That quadrant they have seen. The direction they need to head is North and West. The green hillsides and water views of Washington, Oregon and Northern California are the right choice on so many levels. They are a marked contrast to the arid Southwest that has dominated the last two weeks. They are a natural transition for u. to re-adapt to the conditions of his homeland. They are somewhere lorin has discussed visiting for half-a-decade...and this is the closest approach she has made to coming here.
Door is open. Come!

Thanks for sharing this thread with those of us who couldn't make it. It's a bittersweet mix of joy and jealousy hearing your stories and seeing your gorgeous faces in the flesh. (Speaking of which, Master Gourd, a very sneaky move hiring a cutie to represent you. He must have been expensive.)
Looks like you guys had a ball. Good on you. Loved reading about it. Hope to make it along to the next one.
Hugs from a distance,
-Shaun.

Wow! The Elohimest really 'happened' didn't it. I'm very happy it was such a success because these things don't come together without somebody in back of it all putting in a 'shitload' of work and sweat [not to mention stress and worry]. Guess this was Danlo and his partner - respect from the UK in shed loads [and don't, don't, don't let it be the last!].
