Wow.
Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion

I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.

I know it won't happen, but...

This is why Tebow is the greatest college athlete of all time - what he does off the field. How many others would do something like this 'on the spot'? For those who think it's a PR thing, he's done similar things all 4 years at Florida.
Florida quarterback Tim Tebow a longshot to win a second Heisman

Florida quarterback Tim Tebow escorts 20-year-old Kelly Faughnan, a Gators fan who was
diagnosed with a brain tumor last year, to the Home Depot College Football Awards Ceremony at Disney World.

Florida's senior quarterback Tim Tebow, everybody's All-American, brought a date with him to the Home Depot College Football Awards Ceremony
at Disney World on Thursday night.

Tebow met Kelly Faughnan, a 20-year-old fan of the Gators from Virginia, the previous night at a dinner, where she was wearing a Tebow-inspired button. Just before Thanksgiving last year, Faughnan was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She had surgery last December. Her wish was to go to Disney to get a glimpse of Tebow.

When Tebow learned her story, he invited her to walk him down the red carpet to the ceremony. She even bought a new gown for the occasion.

"I was really touched," Tebow said.

This is the way Tebow will always be remembered - not just as one of the greatest players in the history of the SEC who won a Heisman Trophy in 2007, back-to-back Maxwell Awards in 2007 and 2008 and helped lead the Gators to two national championships - but as someone who constantly gave back to his community.

Tebow will be in New York Saturday night as one of five finalists for the Heisman Trophy, which will be presented at the Nokia Theatre. This will be his third appearance. He finished third last year behind Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford and Texas quarterback Colt McCoy.

Tebow might have picked up a groundswell of support again if Florida had beaten Alabama in last Saturday's SEC championship game. But it didn't happen. The Tide overwhelmed the Gators, 32-13, to advance to the BCS national championship game and Tebow's candidacy evaporated.

"It's not the way I wanted to go out," said Tebow, who will graduate a week from Saturday. "It's going to hurt, but I'll just use that as motivation for our next game in the Sugar Bowl and the next step in my life."

Tebow realizes he is a longshot to win a second Heisman.

"It's just an honor that I'm a finalist," he said. "And it will be a nice chance to hang out with my family. I don't get a chance to do that too often during the season."

This year's Heisman Trophy will come down to the four other candidates - Alabama sophomore running back Mark Ingram, McCoy, Nebraska senior defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and Stanford senior running back Toby Gerhart.

The race is too close to call, especially after Ingram came up empty at the Home Depot ceremonies, where Gerhart won the Doak Walker Award as the nation's best running back and McCoy the Walter Camp Award, given to the best player in the country.
Anyway, IMO...
...should he go pro, and not go to work for his father's evangelical ministry in the Phillipines, I feel whatever community he goes to will be lucky to have him.

Both on and off the field.

Tebow is certainly a classy guy. He never realized his full potential of class, since he didn't play for the University of Tennessee. Nevertheless, tip o' the hat to a true Southern Gentleman.

Few people remember (or care) that Bear Bryant was the UK Football coach at one time during the legendary Adolph Rupp era. The emphasis was placed on the Basketball program so Bryant left...and UK Football has struggled ever since.

Rich Brooks has managed to bring success and hope back to our program...something Kentucky fans have been missing for a long time....with his retirement we now have a wonderful new Head Coach at the helm. Joker Phillips has been with the program for a long time and now he has his shot at bringing the Wildcats to the forefront of SEC football.

It's time. Our Basketball team is back on track and now we have a shot at being a perpetual threat in Football, as well.

Might even beat Florida next season!

Welcome, welcome, Kim!
Looks like I'm going to have fun with Tennessee and Kentucky next year.

But, well...
UF is going to be in a rebuilding year.
And if Coach Meyer decides to retire after this leave of absence after all, we'll be back to square one.

So, yeah.
Perhaps UK will beat Florida next season.
But, I can't wait to find out!
