sorry to interrupt the limericks or whatever it is that you are doing. 
right after my brother passed, my best friend's mom passed away. he still lives in our hometown. so I can only send a card and prayers.
they saw we will be having a tropical storm hitting in the next day or two. so I may be out of touch for a bit. if so I will text Jenn and have her update.
prayers welcomed. the flooding has been horrific in Texas this year.
and if all goes well we have a week in Austin next week for Julie's schooling. I will hit museums.

Indoors doing Masters. (lol)
Spent the day browsing articles for a literature review. Cognitive pluralism, lexical coverage, blah, blah, blah. I mean it actually is interesting and very pertinent to my work, it just takes so long. Stag took Fawn back to the Adirondacks to work at a summer camp so I took the day alone to lay the groundwork for my lit review, which will be on how important it is for kids to have a good vocabulary in order to have reading comprehension which translates to verbal reasoning skills. It's interesting to me, anyway; I love words and this is a high-tone way of justifying foisting fifty-dollar words off onto my unsuspecting 3rd graders!!

Thing is, for me it's been a short week. I was off Monday and Tuesday, (Tue was a public holiday, so I took off Mon for a long weekend), so I've only worked Wed and Thurs, while today (Friday, hooray) is a half day.
Dunno why I feel so meh.

As for me... I seem to spend my time either:
A. obsessing about crazy ideas of mine I want to make happen, or:
B. in between crazy schemes I want to make happen
Right now, I'm at Option A of those two.

Is it really only Wednesday? My workload is about triple right now, which should theoretically make time go by faster, but this week is dragging.
