Would it help if I came out there and gave you a whack in the ear, for old time's sake? Because I care about you, buddy
I hope things get better for ya soon.

Miss you too, Lyr!

for everyone who's having dramas/health issues/blah sort of days.
Hate to sound so absurdly cheerful amid the gloom, but I'm feeling fabbo! Just did a series of great concerts, we got rave reviews, partied like a wild animal over my birthday week (yes, the "Festival of Dana" goes on for a minimum of a week, usually two!) Spent heaps on shopping (thanks to two days off work!) got lots of nice presents, and funds for buying more nice presents.
life's good in the west sah-ide of Oz.

Man, talk about the highs and lows. Elohimfest, then this. Hope things are better now.
Was wondering about you, too, Lyr. Life without internet? Don't wanna think about it.

Amused. I just a moment ago came to a printing error in the book I'm currently reading (originally published 1935): "and so the next day, farewell and they parted,
the Dude riding home by easy stages, the long way, by Memison".

Feel pretty good. Today is the shortest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere. From now, Earth is falling inexorably toward summer for me.

Meanwhile it's the longest day here. From now on, it's all downhill til December 21. Ooh, astronomy. Tomorrow, kids, we look at Kepler's laws of planetary motion.

No!!!
Please!!!
What with Paul's dissertation focus, I have enough of Johannes Kepler in my life!!! Even O-gon-cho references the
Music of the Spheres in her signature...

Haha! I had been re-watching Carl Sagan's
Cosmos, which was why Kepler was on my mind. A
cosmic coincidence, Menolly.
