Agreed.

I'll probably be at a conference in Minneapolis from June 17th to 20th. (Plus or minus any travel days).

But don't schedule this thing around me, since I'm not sure how likely I'm going to be able to go anyway. Life as a full time graduate student can be hard to predict that far in advance. Plus there's my general wussiness. Heh.-jay

I won't go if Jay and Alynna don't go.

Okay, the schedule for the Maine courses just came out, and it looks like the stuff I'm interested in will be in July, but there's still the money issue, and the wedding - and I still refuse to fly, so I'd need some padding for a road trip.

Two weeks to drive back and forth to SF, two weeks in Maine, a week in and driving back from Canada, and various long weekends to Virginia.
Wow, that would be at least six weeks I'd be off this summer. I think my boss will have a heart attack...

What about a train? That's faster than driving, but not up in the air. :)

Well, like I said, don't schedule it around me. You all do what you need to do that's best for everyone else. I really don't know if I'd be able to go anyway.-jay

Yes it is. Here's the latest summary:

Albuqurque: potential site for E'fest 2007. Hope to have SRD meet with us but nothing set in stone. No dates mentioned yet except for late spring-early summer.

San Francisco: alternative site. Hope to have combined E'fest and FBH wrap party (plan is for multiple nights, not one single bash.) This would happen in June. Nothing solid at this point.
