Dear LORD! Ginny and Harry were freaking destined from BOOK 1!!!! Ron and Hermione was being set up in BOOK 2! GAH!

Somehow I think you got that backwards...
Hermione obviously was attracted to Ron/Won from the beginning... On the train to Hogwarts.... she told Ron "you've a bit of dirt on your nose...just there!" As well as how hurt she was when Ron said she was mental and mocked her "Levi-oh-sah not Levi-oh-sar..." Also it was Ron who finished off the Troll in the girl's bathroom while Harry was distracting it... And how she admired Ron for his courage at the life-sized Wizard's chess in book 1...
Ginny didn't make an appearance until book 2 and how flustred and nervous she was whenever Harry was around.

Wasn't Ginny at the train station in Book 1 when Mrs. Weasley explained how to get through the barrier to Harry? And wasn't she all flustered with him at that time too?
Although I do agree with your hints at Hermione/Ron in book 1 (sorry Jen)...

Ginny was at the train station in book one. And I probably just missed some of those hints about Hermione/Ron but it's irrelevant, my point was that Hermione/Ron is so obvious I can't believe that there are Hermione/Harry believers out there!

agreed. there were never any hints at Harry and Hermione being a couple. That is a real friendship (not "friendship with benefits"...
).

I always thought that Ron and Harry might.... well, I guess that is a different series entirely.
