Damelon, I just re-checked airline prices from Knoxville and the price has dropped over $100 since we discussed it the other day. For that difference I may fly straight to Alq. instead of Denver.

In the interest of trying to keep the cost down, if I don't end up getting to carpool with the girl roadtrip, what are the transportation options like? Can we figure a way to pitch in for a rental car or something? Danlo? You got a big soccermom minivan? Any thoughts?

I have no problem with renting a mini-van or SUV (sorry to all the greenies out there) and sharing cost.

Sweet! I'm still hoping for the roadtrip option with Wadds and Luci.

I have an SUV which can seat 4 others, along with me.

This is what it looks like driving: Let's say we want to arrive at Albuquerque at about 12pm. In order to do that, we need to leave San Fran by 9pm Thursday night, which means *I* need to leave Seattle by 9am thursday morning. Those times are not including leeway for trafic, pit stops, food runs/etc. I can easily leave by 6am or so just to give more leeway, but that only gives us three hours. On the other hand, I can just leave after work weds night- arrive somewhere thursday morning, take a quick nap, and then we can leave thursday mid day.

So, girls! What day/time do I need to be there to pick you up? Basically, tell me when you want to arrive in Albuqurque and we'll get there. If I'm able to crash on someone's couch for a nap it would be handy, and it would be easier to arrive in NM earlier....

anyway, give me direction so I know what I'm doing!

Edit: This road trip is SO happening, Jenn. Don't you even think for a second it won't!!

Ok, If you leave Wednesday night you can nap at my place. I am willing to take both Thursday and Friday off so we can leave Thursday morning even if you are willing to nap in the car I can drive while you sleep. Also, if we leave Sunday evening from Albequerque it's probably necessary for me to take Monday and possibly Tuesday off from work as well which would be fine.
