Thanks guys!! :) I saw it on a website my daughter likes, called "Elfwood". All sorts of fantasy art and fiction.

I liked it because the girl is sleeping and her hair is made of fire :) looked rather peaceful :)

Here's a link to the actual pic. It's called "Fire Girl" It's much bigger on the site, so you can see more detail :)

I have an avatar I want to use, but it's 14.7kB and the boards only accept 10kB... Any chance of the limit being raised? Or failing that, is there a way to make the file size smaller?

If you use Jasc animation software, there are several ways to shrink the file size. You can cut out frames, shrink it, and even compress it.

Its a good page if you want to find some fantasy images, but not such a good one if you want to post your work there. I don't much like the website's layout and the gallery is very restrictive to what you can post.

So, do you prefer the dragon av or the pentagram of shamefulthings?

I'd prefer to not raise it above 10K and I'd prefer to not have images in sigs either (but that's only because I'm a mullet with a dial-up connection ;) )

Should I get rid of mine? It's rather harmless as compared 2 something like Murrins...

looks good to me maybe he could use a few highlights though,
make him look a little more hip.

Is my sig image causing any probs Vain? I have dial-up myself, and it seemed okay... it loads fast, but it is a little big (167k, I think) - should I remove it?

Okay, nevermind about the av - turns out, if I open it in Paint then save without changing anything it cuts 12k from the file - I guess I lose some detail, but i can't see any difference so it doesn't really matter....
I've decided not to use that one yet anyway, so this was a waste of time - I'm gonna leave it for after xmas, i think.

Anyone think they can help me out - I need someone to colour Vivi's hat in red-and-white for my xmas av.

Is there any way to see the old avatars of people? or are they all deleted as they have been changed?

Some of them are still in the Avatar Gallery, but it doesn't say whose are whose.

I don't understand moving avatars and (moving) images in sigs. Maybe it's just me, but it draws the eye and mind away from what's being said.
Can someone tell me the point?

Heh, maybe I sound like someone who said 'color' TV just wasn't right. I don't know. The written word is still what we're dealing with here, or not :?
