Tempt me not!
Besides, Across the Universe comes out next month on DVD, and, well, the Beatles > Covenant.
Seems heretical to say it out loud, but, well... I can't fool myself.

You have the temerity to call yourself a Raver?
I knew Moshka Raver, sir, and you are no Moshka Raver.

Sorry, but that silly thing called Across the Universe has about as much Beatles legitimacy in my eyes as that Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movie with Frampton and the Bee Gees.
But welcome to the Watch, anyway, Tull.
Btw, maybe someone can enlighten me on this: I don't know how these things work, but does McCartney get any royalties from Across the Universe, or do the profits go straight to Michael Jackson's coffers because he owns the Beatles catalog?

Well I guess I've been called many things in my life but a lurker? First time is sometimes a good time. Happy to slither (slither, is that what lurkers do? Or maybe slurk? ) Anyhow I guess my elevation to status of lurker is on account of so few posts over a year or three. Its that danged sudoku game is what gets me in every time. Drop in for a meander through the collective intelligence of the Land's best with the greatest of intentions to contribute but its the numbers. They sing to me somehow and demand immediate attention. Must be the dominant right brain or whatsits.
MsMM, cameradude et al I stand before you in abject abasement. I promises to do me bit and contibute. honest ...6,3,8,5,9,1,4,2 & 7

I'm pretty sure Jackson's down to only owning about half of the Beatles catalog now, actually. As far as I know, at least some of the royalties are going to Paul, Ringo, and Yoko.
And I do agree that Across the Universe and Sgt. Peppers are alike in concept, but ATU was done so much better. I mean, Jim Sturgess has a pretty damn good voice.

I agree with you transient that Sudoku can be addictive so we are in the Sudoku Lurker Group now

Heh, I have to admit that sudoku sucks me in as well. And I don't have time for it!
But being a lurker is not a criticism or a negative. It's perfectly okay to lurk - lurk all you want.
I was just curious to know who the lurkers are.

And I am enjoying meeting you.

I'm almost afraid to ask whom Jackson sold the other half to, unless it was back to McCartney. Thanks for the reply, Tull!
All right, enough of that
nowhere man Jackson, let's
get back to Ms. Mary's
magical mystery tour.

Hiya, Jana!
Happy Lurking!
I see you list your location as "The South" and I wonder "the south of what"? I am in the southern part of the US.
