Bat-soo-TOHS-eye. It's Japanese for, um, something. Comes from the Kenshin anime series, if I'm not mistaken (and I probably am).

Batty's the older one, and the one who has actually read some of the Covenant books. Currently she delights in reminding me that she'll be old enough to drink alcohol next month. 8O
