So I've talked it all out with the Fam, and Samuel in particular. While he would understand if I didn't come to his graduation, I could pick up the disappointment in his voice, and how much it means to him.

It should be seven weeks and one day from now. Unless you're arriving on a Wednesday.

I've got less time than I thought!!!!

...but I get an extra day traveling over there (I get Friday twice!) so that's probably got something to do with it.

When MagickMaker flew back from Australia to DC a few years ago, her day was so long that she stayed up that night until midnight -- just to make sure the calendar actually changed to the next day! (Shades of "Groundhog Day"....)

I have to do it. I must re-hijack this thread momentarily....

Lucimay can attest that I do in fact make the bed almost every day. Please also note chihuahua throne of glory complete with sleeping chihuahua prince snuggly established in throne with toys in easy reach. Also note the chair pressed firmly up against the bed which happens to double as the chihuahua prince's access stairs to the bed.

Really, my dog is not spoiled, I swear it.
