I could have sworn I had posted here.

I've only met two (three actually) Watchers:
Foamfollower 1013 (my daughter, who joined at my encouragement back when we were on EZBoard, was here when we moved to this board, and stopped coming here much when she got too busy in hs and college);

and

Menolly and Beorn, who met me at a Chinese restaurant for dinner one time.

We have to do similar again, MsMary, if I can get down to Fort Lauderdale a few days before Pesah next time.

...I'm really having a craving for Rascal House...love the free danish at breakfast!!!

Which one? There is one in Clearwater and I think one in Ocala. (Plus quite a few others)
I couldn't get away for more than 2 or 3 hours due to taking care of my mother,
so I could only get to go to somewhere close to me. :(

I hope we're talking the Roger's Chr-stmas House up in Brooksville, which is about halfway between Tampa and Ocala. If we're talking Clearwater, then I won't be able to make it. Brooksville is about 70 minutes from Gator Town, give or take. Clearwater, several hours each way.

Brooksville can work. I have friends there.
(About 45 minutes away from me)
PM me with when and I will see what I can do. :D

Excellent...

I expect TOM will let me know, either via PM or a post over on GLURPWorld. I'll update you as I learn more.

I am sad to report that Rascal House is no more. :(

It closed and is being replaced with a gourmet market called Epicure.

So, what would now be considered the deli in Miami-Dade/Broward counties?

Got me.

The Famous in Aventura is pretty good, but it's a meat only restaurant. Good food, though.

Well bummer, drag.

Sounds like I'll need to hit Deli Den for my fish then. It's closer to my FIL's anyway...
*sigh*

The Famous has fish...

I am guessing if it is meat only, I wouldn't be able to do a smoked fish combo with pumpernickle onion pockets and cream cheese though, which I can't get here at all... :(

I have to get my smoked fish fix while I'm down there, MsMary. But if I am there enough days ahead of yontiff, maybe a meat/fish place would be good. Or, if you're willing, we could always do Emerald Coast again. Beorn truly loves that place.

I'm not so crazy about it. It was okay, but not a place I go out of my way to eat at.

Fair enough.

We'll come up with something, should I come down early enough. :)

I have a new claim to fame. I have folded the underpants of four different watchers now. :P Lucimay, Covenant Jr, Danlo and Lady Tam. HAHAHAHAHAHA! :S

There ya go. I forgot Lady Tam. How the hell I could forget the one who's made me the most food (after Raen, of course) is beyond me. Shameful.

I have had dreams about at least four or five different Watchers, but that's about it. As I said before, the only Watcher I know in person I knew before I came to KW.
