same question. I know I didn't specify MalikJr on mine.
aliantha wrote:Nah, it'd still work. Unless it's been turned into a newt.
and hasn't gotten better yet, of course.
That goes without saying.
I addressed mine to the whole class, since I didn't know MalikJr's name. But y'know, I think most Watchers who have planned to send a card have posted in this thread and mentioned where they were sending from. So it shouldn't be *too* hard to piece it together....

Who else would send one of The Swamp to Wildcat territory?

The teacher said that for the ones that weren't addressed to a specific student would be given to the students no one sent a postcard for, so it's all good.
Menolly--You are a very brave lady.

This is still making me well up. Good grief.
Not sure how quickly mine will arrive; in the past, post from the UK to the US has taken anything up to three months. Dispatched about two weeks ago though, so should arrive within the time frame.

He's a sweetie, isn't he? He just hears KW so much in this house, I guess it is a big part of his life too. Here's a shot of the little guy in front of his school this past week.
Thanks Balon and Cov Jr!!!

So much for being the aloof British cad you
claim to be...
I'm so glad his project is going well. That is such fun for him and his classmates and he is adorable.

I finally got my postcard in the mail yesterday. So sorry for the delay....I've just been distracted by real life. I carried it around in my bag for about two weeks (and I go to the post office every day but just kept forgetting to put it in the box!).
Hope it arrives safely!

Is this project still going on? I'm leaving for Italy on Saturday so if Malik Jr wants to receive a postcard from Italy I will need an address pm'ed to me asap.

I think you're good to go here; I'll PM the address if I still have it in my inbox. (I have it; PM sent)

Fired off a few more postcards last week.

Thanks for sending the address. I can't promise anything, but I will do my best to send a postcard while I am gone.

Did mine ever show up? I gave them a Jimi Hendrix one. Figured that'd represent the Washington music scene
