It's not too late. I was way too tired last night, but I may try to catch part of it tonight. Which ideally means a trek up to where there's less light pollution, so we'll see if I actually drag myself out after dark.

I finished late last night but thick cloud put the scuppers on any possibility of a sighting. How long do they last Sorus?

The best part is over, alas, but there will be at least some activity up until the 24th or so.

A while back I tapered off and ended taking a medication that helped me for a few years, but it may have been causing the killer migraines I started having regularly. It's too soon to say if the migraines are over, but I have been having more disrupted sleep since getting off the med. I was kind of getting used to sleeping at night.
It's pouring out now, but if the clouds move off it should be a good night to go out and see some Perseids.

I had to work super late today, and now my internal clock is out of whack and I'm too wired to sleep. I will regret this tomorrow.

Yes, but if I go to bed right now I will have 7 hours before I need to get up for work.

Better than commuting during 'normal' hours; the trains are packed like sardine cans.

Sheesh, I thought I went to work early.

I'm up at 05h00 and at work by 06h00.

Waking up two hours before my alarm goes off and knowing that's it for sleep, but thinking it's only responsible to keep trying, and feeling even more tired by the time the alarm finally does go off.
