It's not quite 1:30, and I'm not insomniac, for once I actually stayed up late. I went to Long Island to see a friend I hadn't seen in 28 years! I couldn't get anyone to go with me (he was playing a gig in a tavern) so I went alone... he introduced me to his friends and they just took me in. Their music was absolutely top-notch and I had a fantastic time. Dave and I hung out like it was yesterday. Awesome evening and I probably should have posted this in the gratitude thread!!
