I'm still looking for a suitable 20-something-guy-with-a-killer-smile, boyish-yet-able-to-morph-into-maturity for Geraden...

is this for you, personally, or for a cinematic adaptation of Mordant's Need?

MATT DAMON? :haha:

Everytime I think of Matt Damon, I see his 'marionette version' from Team America....
:S
..Maaaaatt Daaaaamon....

EDIT:

Just had a brainstorm - has anyone seen "Tristan & Isolde" yet? Whatcha reckon James Franco as Geraden?

Another suggestion...

I'm absolutely in love with Hugh Laurie ("House M.D.") and I think he would be a great Eremis. What do you think? Am I too biased? ;-)

Unless he gets cast as Thomas Covenant, of course...

Hugh Laurie is too pretty to play Eremis.

Gereden- I still like Gyllenhaal
Terisa- Kiera Knightly
Artagal - Hugh Jackman
Havelock- John Hurt
Eremis- Patrick Stewart (Attractive in an atypical way)
Saddith- Jennefer Tilly
Joyce- Ian Mckellen
Lebbick- Micky Rourke

I like your choices-except Terisa and Eremis. Terisa is described as more-endowed than Keira--I would go with Kate Winslet. Malkovich would make a great Eremis for me. Love Rourke as Lebbick!!!

I picked Patrick Stewart (or Stanly Tucci) for Eremis as well.

I like the idea of James Franco as Geraden and... this is a little offbeat, but what about Felicia Day as Terisa? She's got that whole o.O look going on that reminds me of Terisa in her early "Allright! Allright! Just stop looking at me like that!" mode on.

Or it could just be the heatwave frying my brain ;)

I definitely agree with those...good call for Lebbick and Havelock especially. The rest I either don't know who they are, or disagree. :D

Alot of them are British actors. I can't believe you don't know who Famke Janssen is. Did you not see any of the X-men movies? She plays Dr. Jean Grey. If I find some time I'll try to visually link you to all the choices I made.
