I've grown to appreciate Steely Dan more as time passes. "Dirty Work", "Kid Charlamagne", "Cousin Dupree"...all great ones.

U2 (Achtung! Baby is my favorite album)
The Police (Synchronicity)
Enigma
INXS
Pet Shop Boys (I can't explain it, though I've tried)
Although they don't qualify as Top5 favorites, I also like a lot of the stuff that the Gorillaz and Massive Attack have done.

I'm with you Relayer. I've got such a broad taste in music, it's nearly impossible to even come up with favorite genres.

Yep,I thought it best to just list rock bands, hell I could list the Clinch Mountain Boys,or Howlin Wolf,or Muddy Waters bands in the 50's.

Thanks. I tried to keep it to rock too. I could've listed a whole bunch of other bands and genres and not even scratched the surface.
I've been going thru my entire collection and converting it to mp3 so I can put it all in an IPod... put it on shuffle and I can get some really wild mixes
