Maybe they don't want him confused with Stephen R. Lawhead? (Don't know his stuff; he's just a name I see on the store shelves.)

Spent last night reading all the excerpts from W.A. Senior's book. Very insightful material! I have got to get my hands on this book.

The UK have always published him under "Stephen Donaldson". But for the US printing, it will be "Stephen R. Donaldson".
And then the ravens pecked out his eyes.

I think Romeo's right - I've only just realised it says 'Stephen Donaldson' on my copies (never noticed before it was pointed out).
This mean UK is further ahead in schedule (I know a lot of series seem to get published in the UK first)?

That explains it. Thanks, Romeo.

Matrixman, I was overall disappointed with Senior's book. Often he seemed to be simply reporting the obvious in as obscure language as possible. Of course, since it was related to SRD's writing, I had to read it.

Oh, and there are two appendices that are interviews with SRD. He interviews so well. I'm very glad to have those.

He answered my question! True it completely sucked and lacked any from of intellectual substance... but still... it is there... and at the bottom of the list at the moment.

hmmm... there are three people there I think... One is Linden... who are the other two. Hey Danlo, didn't you or Romeo report that Lindens babysitter and Lindens Nurse are also in the books at the start... and one gets killed... maybe that's what happens in this, the other goes to the land. :)

Spoiler Warning!

It's possible that five people are caught in the "summoning": Linden, Joan, Roger, Jeramiah and the babysitter (Sandy Eastwall). The nurse (Sara Clint) is killed by Rog in chapter 5.

Wow. We're reading a lot into that cover, aren't we? :D

P.S. - I wanna know about Sunder's child. But I'm willing to wait.

I take that cover to mean that the Land has recovered from the Sunbane.

Should there be a spoiler warning somewhere around here? I was caught a little offguard, as I haven't read the online-chapters.
