Dang! And I live in the state right next to his! Long drive from Austin, but hey, if I didn't just start my job, I'd go! Are we gonna have anymore of these?? I hate to miss out. I know my friend who got me into SRD would definitely wanna go too!

OK - you all know that I can't get to the gathering, however, I am going to send my prized Gilden-Fire to the fest. Danlo has graciously offered to ask SRD to autograph it for me, which is sooooo cool!!
I am also going to ask all of the attendees to sign it, so I can get a part of the feel of Elohimfest, even though I won't physically be there.
So all of you feel free to sign it (the book conveniently has about 3 blank pages in front & back) and the Timekeeper will send it back to me. That will make the book that much more special to me.
Have FUN!!!!

Woohoo!! It's official - I can make it!!
My plane lands around 10 pm on Friday. Which means I start buying drinks for everyone around 11 pm. Who's with me!!
(edited: oops! 10:45 pm. so "drinks on me" will start closer to midnight - for anyone who'll still be up, that is )

Well, that week I will be working until midnight Sunday through Tuesday nights, then getting up early to drive on Wednesday...I will be staying up late at the baseball game on Wednesday night (will be great, so am not complaining ) -- and driving something like 30 hours in three days to get to New Mexico. I can very easily imagine myself missing the Friday night festivities entirely so I can get some sleep. 
And believe me, if I am that tired you guys won't want me to be there.
I am glad you are coming Romeo, but I think I will collect my drink on Saturday night.

Dare I ask a question about this Elohimfest?
I just wondered what you folks do there, and if there's a fest in for example europe?
I discovered today that fest in swedish is the same in english (you use it more often in the swedish language, though) .
So I guess this is a big party you have once a year?
EDIT: I haven't asked this before, I hope. My memory is just too bad.

1st time ever! June 25th quests arrive-that evening getting aquainted party with movie (The Princess Bride and Monty Python and the Holy Grail available) and pizza.-my house (Mithil Stonedown

*June 26th-Lady Tam's High Tea 3:30-my house, 6:30 dinner and interview with SRD at Gardunos of Mexico
*June 27th-NM Field trip: Jemez Hot Springs (natural mineral springs in the mountians, Earthblood ), Jemez Falls (Furls Falls ), The Valle Grande (Andelian ), Bandelier Nat'l Monument and prayer for peace at Los Alamos Nat'l Labs (birthplace of the a-bomb, Foul's Creche 
), Santa Fe stopover (if not too exhausted at that point) 
). 7-8pm costume party-my house.

Just re-re-confirming: I am there for Elohimfest -- plane booked, hotel booked. I am in Sat morning, out Sun evening (couldn't make Fri, unfortunately).
