PM Dawn underrated? I don't think so. They got quite a bit of hype both from the press (Rolling Stone and Spin) and from MTV. If anything I think they were overrated.

consigned to "hippie rap" band. brilliant stuff lost in hardcore gangster land. check out "Untitled" from Dearest Christian and wonder why more bands didn't follow along.

Because no one listened to them. And it wasn't for lack of exposure, they were media darlings.
