Hey, the brown scheme is back!!! Thanks very much, Vain!
Wow, complaining about something actually brings results! Who knew? I better not push my luck.
Ahh, I can once again soak in the deep luxuriance of BROWN.
Er...hold on, you took it off for a reason? Uh, does the brown scheme cause glitches in KW or something? If it's causing KW to be unstable, then I can live without BROWN. Really I can.

You can (IIRC) change the version you see in your profile. Personally, I like the blue/grey version better.

Aah, we're not talking about the banner anymore Sgt. Now we're talking about the way that the whole forum displays on your monitor. I was wondering where the brown was that you're talking about.

If you really want to see it, (and I warn you, it's hideous, don't know what weird cyborg stuff MM's got instead of eyes

), then click on the link in the menu under the banner at the top of the page, the one that says profile.
Then scroll almost all the way down, to where it asks for your timezone and stuff. One of the drop-downs will be displaying the words "sub/silver" or something. click on the dropdown, choose the other option (which is called
Blue something for some reason) and then click submit.
To get it back the way it was, repeat the process, but the menu at the top of the page will look a bit different. Just click on the link that has the word profile in it.
Last warning...

You're just used to the "classic" colours of KW, and that's all well and good. But if you can get past the initial shock of the brown scheme, you may find it to be actually quite nice. I do most of my KW browsing at home in the evenings under low lighting levels, so the brown scheme suits me well. The dark, dusky hues are more soothing to my eyes now than the bright daylight glare of the classic scheme.
Besides, the brown layout complements the colours of SRD's website. Works for me, heh heh.

Te main thing i didnt like was it was harder to see which threads had new posts.
IE. the ''new posts'' symbol blends with the background.

One mans meat, MatrixMan, one mans meat.
Fair enough actually, I do my Watching under the ceaseless glare of the fluorescents...and I'm not particularly fond of brown as a colour anyway, but I do like both blue and grey.
