Katche is awesome!
Yes Krazy I know the website, I've been a huge Camel fan since listening to Moonmadness in '74. There are number of very famous guitarists that have "borrowed" Andy Latimer's stylings-Steve Howe and Duane Allman are two examples. I have their website link posted in The Music Heaume at my website, Ahira's Hangar (my www).

Been listening to The Snow Goose recently it had collected a lot of dust - forgot just how good this recording was.
I was playing Keep Yourself Alive by Roger Taylor-Queen when I looked at this thread. Not a long drum section I admit, but WOW, those toms he hits are so bang-on and tuned up nicely!
Was glad to see RT in the featured drummers Manu Katche list!

I love the Snow Goose, especially the Rayder (sp) songs, it's so haunting. I've only seen snippets of the movie with Richard Harris and (I think) Julie Christie, apparently it's very tough to find, but it's supposed to be a heartbreaker...

I wasn't aware of a movie, that's a new one on me.
Saw Camel just the once, when I lived in Cambridge. They were actually quite a surprise act. I got up close to the stage when they were really starting to rock the house. Andy Latimer looked to me like the guy from the Clash. I thought he was gonna gob on me at one point, so I backed off just to be safe.

Well, I listed 15 in case someone really wants to get technical. To me Billy Cobham is the greatest drummer of all time, I saw The Mahavishnu Orchestra 6 times, back in the day. But, since their music is classified as Jazz/Rock Fusion and most of Billy's subsequent work is Jazz he's inevitably pigeonholed as Jazz.
Top 7 Jazz drummers:
Billy Cobham
Buddy Rich
Max Roach
Tony Williams-Return to Forever
Gene Krupa
Jack DeJohnette
Alphonse Moriera-Weather Report
Roy Haynes
Another top Jazz drummer????.................... Phil Collins!
Yeah believe it, apart from being a pretty decent drummer with Genesis for many years he has a band (I think it was called Brand X or something similar) which was Jazz based with some truly excellent drumming from him. Also another good Jazz Drummer is Charlie Watts of the Stones who has been know to drop into clubs and rip a couole of rolls with some pretty classy acts.
