Reave the Unjust - very nice pictures!

Wyldewode - love your Arch of Constantine and artifacts from Pompeii. Where abouts is the Arch?

I wasn't able to take pictures in Bath yesterday so here are 2 from my last trip and 3 in London:

Thanks, Chrysalis! However, I must say that I misspoke myself when I named that Arch the Arch of Constantine. It's actually the Arch of Titus, and it is located just southeast of the Forum in Rome.

Blackhawk, you are correct. Part of the fun of digital photography is being able to play around with your pics in image editing software. However, I will say that if a shot comes out of the camera looking good, I don't fiddle around with it. Much.

Nice to see more architectural goodness around...

Reave, very nice shots from Paris!

Wyldewode, I like that dramatic shot of the Arc de Triomphe. Nice one of the Arch of Titus, too. Also like the pics of the Pompeii artifacts.

You travellers just make me sick with envy. Sick, I tell you.

Any subject can be interesting, depending on how you photograph it. At least, that's the excuse I'm using. :P I'm not a traveller, I just go around my city and take pictures for the simple pleasure of it.

I very rarely do any editing of my pictures. . . though I am hoping to get a new computer some time this year, and with it some more sophisticated editing software! :D

I haven't been anywhere exciting since 2006. So I'm living on my memories from my first trip to Europe! :P

I think MM has hit upon the key to it. . . we have to look with fresh eyes. I'm thinking about taking some pictures around town myself if the weather is nice enough this week.

And MM, I love the one with the snow and the the tree-lined way. Makes me think of the Frost poem! :D

The shot I took of the daffodils blooming in the snow and my daughter making her first snow angel are about the most interesting things around here. Until the weather gets nicer and I can get out to the country and shoot something a little more scenic. I mostly meant that architecturally, there's not a lot of interesting things to photograph. Most of the farms here aren't even that quaint, so I'll have to get really creative, and that will mean getting out without this infuriating splint on.

Me either. I will crop them a bit but thats it. I do love playing with photoshop but I can't say I really know how to use it to its full advantage.

Chrys, did you really take the pic of the jellyfish?
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

I did yes.

Although it was taken at a zoo, not out in the wild.
