People who are old enough to know better (i.e. over the age of fifteen) whinging about how they want to die because life is crap. If you genuinely want to die, just do it. If you don't off yourself, you clearly don't want to die and should stop saying it. Pathetic.

One of our overwrought clients threatened to throw herself out of a second story window because she wasn't getting what she wanted. My intrepid co-worker had the perfect reply: "This isn't high enough to kill you. If you want to die you need to go up a few floors." Of course, that statement would be hotly denied, but it worked at the time.

I work in social work, and I am constantly amazed at how little gratitude some of our clients have.

Heck the 90 year old guy who got completely shanked by Madoff and I would be happy to work side by side at McDonalds. They wouldn't hire Ken Lay, were he alive, or that multi-billionaire guy who destroyed Iceland's economy-jezz that would mean that the gymnast/"Sporticus" guy that produces Lazy Town would now be the most solvent person in that country

idiot co-workers who call in all the time. we have forms where you can plan for time off. and some of these idiots have no actual time. so they just don't get payed for missed time. why would anyone do that?
