I am praying that it was something I ate, or tomorrow is going to be really lousy.

My tickets to Elohimfest arrived yesterday. :)

Other news. On a diet. Doctor told me to do so. Basement project closing in on finishing. New tv to watch the tournament on. Soon, Danlo won't recognize the place when he returns for our next Bears game.

Urgh, yeah. Push is coming to shove on the diet front here, too, dammit... :(

Extremely tired. Whoever invented 5am needs to be dragged outside and shot. Fortunately, I get to "sleep in" until my normal time of 6:30.

....Oh what a beautiful morninging, oh what a beautiful day....
Well, not really, but at least when I I woke up this morning, I only felt tired, rather than sick and tired. Now if only I could get rid of the tired...

Wow, I was tired this morning. I meant to write, "tomorrow I get to 'sleep in' until my normal time of 6:30."

Up at 5 two days in a row, with an extra hour and a half at work, does not make for fun times.

News is not good. Dam-et's hamster, Treat, has been diagnosed with uterine cancer and has scant days left.

Vet offered to euthanize her, but Dam-et insisted that his hamster would come home alive and we would make whatever time she had left as comfortable and loving as we could.

Not looking forward to this process, but very proud of the boy's instincts.

Haha, I dragged myself out of bed at 10 this morning! Tomorrow I have to get up at 9am (so early!) because I need to go grocery shopping and to the post office before work.

Apparently in Korea "Italian Sausage Pizza" is neither Italian, nor sausage, but rather pickles, a few rotini noodles, and small pieces of ham. :?

How is your son's hamster today, SD?

It really makes one marvel at the veterinary sciences, I mean how does one diagnose uterine cancer in such a small creature? I mean as opposed to, say, stomach cancer? amazing IMO.

Great, so for you, this would be like getting up at 3:45. I bet you'd love that ;)

Today I'm back to my regular schedule, though, so I'm feeling much better.

As I belong to the Guild of Newspaper Deliverers, I have to get up at 4am Monday to Fridays. I can tell you that lie in on Saturday morning is sweet.

I am *so* not a morning person. I get up at 7am on work days. And anything before 6am is just not happening.

I just woke up from a horrible nightmare: I dreamt I was filing my federal and state tax returns on-line and was having all sorts of difficulties, including my browser freezing for several minutes.
Oh, wait. That wasn't a dream.
At least it's over now. Assuming that the forms were sent correctly. And that I didn't make any errors on the forms.
Now I'm going to bed, 2 hours later than I'd intended.
Good night, world.

Frustrated. Still trying to get a second job, and tired of throwing applications down the electronic rabbit hole and getting no response. I don't know if it's because of my less-than-open availability due to job #1, or the fact that I am overqualified for almost everything I'm applying for, or some vast Cylon conspiracy - considering that I am getting *automated* replies. I've been rejected by the army, ignored by Starbucks, and there's probably some rule against selling your soul on eBay, which is fine since I probably don't have one. Life is frustrating. The last month has been like a bad sitcom - the sort that gets cancelled after a couple episodes and leaves people cringing at the mere mention, so I'm not going to go into any of that.
