Ok, the big prepping has begun. Bloodguard Bob is in the kitchen whipping up some incredible yumminess! Tonight is gonna rule! I can't begin to express what a joy it is to be able to host the house of happiness and create memories to last a lifetime in celebrating such a wonderful moment in my life.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Details? Details?.....Menolly wrote:Details!! We want details!!

O.K. I'll give a few details.

I hooked up with the Lady Tam and Danlo about 3:00 to go to Jenn's.
Yes. Danlo had no clue that the Lady Tam was coming along. I'll let a better narrator describe how the Lady Tam sprang that on him.

Again, BGB and Jenn whipped up a great meal for the festivities. The apartment was filled with people having a wonderful time.
Yes. Almost as soon as Creator arrived, he and Luci began a game of Scrabble. And they continued for quite a while.

As the sun went down, it got cool outside in the courtyard behind the apartment. The Wiz had just come up in conversation. Someone, Romeo I think, mentioned that we should go in. Well, as we went up the stairs to the apartment, a group of us including Watchers Romeo, IrrationalSanity and I went up the stairs singing Ease on Down the Road from the Wiz.

Gradually people started to leave. By midnight, the guests were down to Danlo and I. Danlo hadn't seen the 39th episode, so we watched that, and afterwards Jenn, Danlo and I hung out on the back porch chatting until 2:00 am.
Danlo and I had an entertaining cab ride back to the hotel. The cab driver told a couple of good stories on the 10 minute ride. It was worth a good tip.

So, I just get a cup of coffee and sit down to read the paper while I'm waiting at the gate and some strange woman wraps her arms around me (from behind) and plants a kiss on my neck-and says "Hey big boy you want to go to San Fran with me?" Before Tam comes into view some other lady I've never met is taking our picture. I throw my arms up to cover my face saying, "Who the hell are you!?" Then Tam's sitting beside me going, "Let her take our picture you idiot-that's our camera!". Then I stupidly say, "Wow you're here to see me off, great!......How in the world did you get by security!!!??"
And then I see her holding her own boarding passes. I was and am completely blown away by everything. I can't even begin to express my gratitude.
I'm no longer a Vegas or FBH virgin. I lost $6 at the slots and remarked that that was one of the biggest waste of time in the world. I've seen parts of FBH, but I've never seen a full episode and ep 40 had me absolutely splitting my sides with laughter--these guys and gals are amazing--were having beyond too much fun and just about to join Damelon in a cab heading off to Chinatown...OMG I love you guys SO MUCH!!!
(tears of joy)

D'OH!!Menolly wrote:I hope everyone had a teriffic time last night! I never got a call, but I'm sure there was too much fun going on for it to happen.
Things got into high gear almost immediately after we got there. It slipped my mind.

The party was great fun! Words to describe it are not coming to me right now, so let me post up a couple of pictures.
