i once did an Edith Ann monologue (yes in a big
rocking chair) from memory (rowan and martin's
Laugh-In) at a middle school talent night and all the girls (christy,
susan, and cheryl) that used to chase me around the school to kick my butt for my smartassed mouth suddenly became my biggest fan club. weird.
"i went to church with my grandpa and when ever body else
stood up to sing Rock of Ages, we sang Jingle Bells cause we
like it better!"

I have never done, and would rather die (literally) than do, karaoke.

Congratulations or condolences?
Congratulations. I'm due in court in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
So luck would be good too.
In that case, congrats and good luck.

I can soooo see you doing this!
So Cail -- you must be a free man by now. How does it feel?

Yes, congrats to Cail!
When I was on the yearbook in high school we took time out of school to go sell ads to the local businesses. I went with a group, and later the guy who drove noticed his wallet was missing. My biggest antagonist accused me of stealing it, and her best friend (who also didn't like me) stood up for me and defended me. I was shocked as hell. And two days later the wallet was found in the guy's coat pocket.

I love to do Karaoke. On a cruise last summer, someone stopped me the day AFTER a karaoke night to complement my performance (now THAT was a rush.)
Mrs. Stutty and I were recently chorus members in the world (amateur) premier of "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels [ the musical]"

[I'm barely visible in like one of those pictures.]
It took me six years to graduate with a bachelors degree in Computer Science after meandering through Engineering and Psychology.
Am curious if Syl is a Shellback or a polywog

Thanks, Menolly. I didn't know there was an Anniversary thread. That's what I get for keeping my nose buried in Star Trek, Comics and Mallorys.

No problem, TOM.
There are two threads.
A stickied thread for KW anniversaries,
and a wedding anniversary one that was started when wedding anniversaries started being posted in the KW anniversary one.
But, your post here is fine, IMO. I know I didn't know that today was your wedding anniversary. Nor especially that it was a mile stone one!

Heh. I went on to do yearbook in college, and the drama was even bigger there. I quit that after one year and went to the newspaper instead. Then I quit that for a paying job in a coffeehouse.

I constantly and simultaneously have the conflicting desires to be anonymous, unknown, and mysterious, and to tell everyone I meet everything about myself as quickly as possible. I compromise by being ridiculous.

I love a card game so much, I am in the process of writing a strategy guide for it.
Just because.
