I'll admit, I don't know the answer to this myself. That's why I asked. It would be shameful if I didn't even know my chosen mother's name! So the answer could be: she was never named, though I'd expect some proof of that.

I was wondering (if she'd ever been named).

Finally, I've gotten far enough with my re-read to answer this. I've just read past the part where Terisa has been given the tour of Houseldon by Minick, and then Terisa goes back to the Domne's house and briefly discusses Minick and his wife with Quiss.

I feel confident in now stating: the name of Minick's wife is never given in the Mordant's Need story.
