People talking on a Bluetooth reminds *me* of the good old days, when only the crazy people would walk the streets and talk to themselves...

People talking on the phone tend to adopt a different tone than face to face, and they usually speak more loudly as well. Grrr.

So true. Whoever invented those things must have laughed in glee.

What's really obnoxious is people who don't turn off their ringers while in a concert or play.

Must've been just a bump. As an admin, danlo could've merged the threads himself, methinks.

When people try to use scientific words with very specific meanings in the wrong context, and then use moron's logic to justify it.

Example:" Global Warming, or the global warming postulate, if you will..."

"No, that's not a postulate."

"A postulate is that which is just accepted without proof."

"Yes, that's what a postulate is, but the idea of global warming is not a..."

"Told you so! It's like that Pythagorean thing."

this one REALLY gets to me.

Why can't you buy flippable mattresses anymore? All new mattresses are now built one sided so you only get 50% of the use with this new design. I tried googling the answer but the mattress industry doesn't even discuss it.

It's a conspiracy, I tell you!

Probably started about the time they began attaching pillowtops to the mattresses. It wouldn't work to flip one of those...
