Aside from the bleeding tonsil, I feel good. My stomach feels better and I can breathe!
The moral of this post: Be very careful when brushing your tonsils.

I feel like a Rube Goldberg machine--doing incredibly elaborate things to achieve a simple result.

I suffer from chronic, recurring tonsilitis. I don't have insurance for a little while longer, so I can't get them resurfaced or removed. Basically, what happens is that when I get sick with tonsilitis, I get tonsil stones, which require me to brush my tonsils, rub them with a finger, or some other instrument to dislodge the stones from the surface. If I don't I keep getting sicker and other bad things.
Unfortunately, sometimes I forget how tender the tonsils are.

Work has been especially oppressive lately, and I don't know if it is that or my ability to deal with it. Nevertheless, I'm sick of talking about it. I bring it home with me, and they don't pay me enough to bring it home with me, so I'm trying to quit doing that.

Well, I got a job yesterday and I don't really know how I feel about it.
Lessee, benefits...benefits....Well, money's kinda cool but it's considerably less than what I was earning at my last job. It is what I love to do, that's good. It's also literally a stones throw from one of my fishin spots so i can fish after work I s'pose. Umm, what else? I guess it'll get me out of the house some.
It's just tough, the leaving of my last job was a bit traumatic and I let eight months go by without getting back on any horse and now structure is waiting at the other end of Sunday.
Good or bad I guess I'll start getting up and going to work instead of getting up and looking for something to do.
Wellp, better go sharpen my knive and buy some new clogs.

Thanks Menolly. It's not as cool as working in a Southern-Italian Style restaurant but by the looks of it it's a higher end corporate kitchen if there is such a thing. Being there, though, it sure was nice to be in the hustle and bustle again, hearing the convection ovens and chopping and "...Oye, atras guay, caliente! Aye, cabron."

I'm pissed! I wanted to watch football SO bad, but a nasty cold just snuck up on me and my head is hot, glands ache, ear canals hurt and sneezing everywhere. I've been drinking tons of water and took two Phyto Shields, but it got me anyway...

Awww, Ki.
I hate days like that.
Maybe a nice cuppa ginseng or green tea will help?

I feel lost, as if my whole life is meaningless and nothing I do or say has ever or will ever amount to anything...other than that - just great!
