Pantheon,
As I was walking through the Forest in Imray, a deer jumped through the bushes in front of me. No big deal, but for the fact that it caused me to spill the hickory bark tea I was drinking.
I offer a great reward for the head of this deer!
Obviously, in order to get your reward, you would need to get the head to me before I am killed for Nor Yekith's reward. However, I do not care whether you get me the head before or after you get Raucous' hide to Madadeva for his reward. Order things as you wish. I am nothing if not flexible. But please, take care of these three issues before you begin trying to attain rewards for any other things that may come along. Fair's fair, eh?

Excuse me!!
Raucous' hide
and wings and head! And Vashitva and I have agreed we will cook the meat and feast at my temple!!
The Numen! Do you have any recipies for Dragon Meat!? Perhaps basted with dwarrow ale!!

Please have the respect to watch your spelling there, Madadeva. She is my sister, still, in spite of it all. It's easy to remember with this little trick: You can't spell Vashitva without shit.

In Our experience, drawing from a mostly Houka background, you'll get the best flavour out of the meat if you properly prepare the beast beforehand. Work the beast to exhaustion before the killing. It adds a subtle flavor to the meat. Since you'll be skinning it first, We feel there is little else that needs be done in that regard.
We find great appeal in the irony of serving dragon meat cold. Especially the brain, it's a delicacy when frozen. Served in a bowl, eaten with a small spoon... Quite delightful. The cold numbs the tastebuds, but they warm quickly. As they do, the diffrent tastes reveal themselves to your palate one at a time. Some legends say that when the brains of monkeys are eaten thus, one can actually catch glimpses of the creature's life. We imagine that with the brain of a centuries old sentient creature would yield a most sublime experience.

The Numen wrote:True fact: one of the best substances to use to tan the skin of an animal is it's own brain, mixed with water and then soaked into the skin. I'm told that every animal has just enough brain mass to tan its own skin. You can also use egg whites , if you plan on eating the brain chilled, instead.
Does the Numen know where I can get drake egg whites?

Yes.
Yes We do.

an ancient bard wrote:Some say the world will end in fire;
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
*cracking knuckles*
This world verges on destruction, and I am called. Do none here recall that the task of destruction is mine, given to me by my father and cursed by my siblings? You may ask the Allfather himself, Mox, if you doubt me and are lucky enough to encounter him with your dabbling into the Mists.
*laughs*
Yes, I have seen what others among you may have missed. Perhaps if you had used the Mist Lense as it was intended, Brid, instead of attaching it to my Golem... But no matter.
I will now confer with my prophet, Ferax, and any of you who wish to speak with me. While I do not fault my son for forsaking this world, there was little he could tell me about most of you. If Eiran is to be set right, I will do what I can. If it is to be brought to a close, let us ensure it is done with reverance and dignity for Eiran and its peoples.

The Smith returns!
As I judge the dwarrow and their delight in ale, the God of such peoples surely knows something of
Desire and perhaps even
Decadence!

Welcome back. We must celebrate ... I throw a pretty nice party!

Healing rejoices in your return, brother.
Welcome
home to Eiran.

Simjen, I applaud your efforts. I have not desire to see my beautiful earth destroyed.

Perhaps you have seen what you have seen because
I attached it to your golem's eye!
- Think! Mr Smith, before you condescend onto Brid...

Ahhhh Brid, you fret about
everything!
Come, join me at one of my temples. I will serve such drink and pleasures that BOTH sides of your deific personality will let go of your
burdens at least for a little while!

Hail, bringer of the Divine Flame that healed my beloved.
Your return is much welcomed.

Then again, perhaps not, for one but your own Prophet turning the Lense to look upon the Mists leads to blindness, as I can attest...

My favorite upholstery speaks!
It is a shame that when I have your head mounted, I will not be able to enjoy your prattle. Perhaps the Numen retains some of the Master's talent for animating the dead ... it might amuse me on occaison!

No condescension was intended, Brid. And I did think... to tell you that I was aware of your efforts. However, the reason I am congnizant of Mox's move into the Mists has to do with the fact that I have... experience there. This experience lead me to cast my eye towards a disturbance as I passed into this realm once again. What mischief Mox intends I do not know, nor will I be able to divine it or whatever else occurs now that I am here.
Undoubtedly I chose my words poorly. The Lense has always been an exercise in futility, as Hedra has pointed out to me more than once. It was only of middling use on the dwarrow expedition and none since. Perhaps if combined with my eye... yet I note my visage is now whole, so the Eye has likely passed from Eiran by now. Blindness, however, surprises me. That was never part of its design. Perhaps you could tell me more of the circumstances?
Regardless, the construct to which it was attached is a Rav Golem - merely a servant, if a very big one.

Simjen... Creater of the Herzwald... Ally of my father... Foe - and opponent! - of the World Breaker...
There are not words enough to welcome you. To thank you for all you did for Eiran in the Second Age. None of us would be here but for you.

As you wish, Smith, as I am still deeply in your debt for the healing
fire used on my beloved those millenia ago.
Perhaps the design of the Lense had naught to do with blinding me and the cause may have been merely the direction in which I chose to turn it. My beloved described what happened
here...
