You're not being stupid, Sarge, you just don't watch Battlestar Galactica. Which, by the way, I think you would love. My avatar is Michelle Forbes as Admiral Helena Cain, commander of the Battlestar Pegasus. Reminds me of Sorus in some ways.

This one was wandering up the driveway about six feet away from me - they're pretty used to people with cameras.

The canine subspecies Moosiscutimus has an obsessive predilection for external sources of warmth. They seek it anywhere and everywhere they can get it including trying to climb inside their human companion's sweaters in public places. I captured this particular subject making himself very much at home in the freshly laundered dryer warm clothing that I stacked on my bed. I have also come to the conclusion over the years of studying this particular subject that he has an unnatural ability to seek out the black sweaters in order to leave as much fur shed on them as possible before they get hung in the closet....

Image

The second photo I offer up in evidence of the unholy powers of the subject was taken the week before after I had put away all laundry not touching the body of the sleeping Moosiscutimus....

Aww, what a cutie! (Cats do this too. I have a friend who says the key is to color-coordinate your cat with your wardrobe. We have one white cat and one mostly-black cat, so sadly, I'm screwed either way....)

Thanks Ali. Does your white cat seek out your black clothing and the black one seek out the light colored clothing?

It sure seems that way!

yeah, Morgan (the white one) likes to cuddle with me when she's not mad at me for being gone for MONTHS! Most of my clothing is dark, so I'm screwed...

Pets are amazing. I just got this incredible t-shirt for the Mooseman.

Image

It will go great with my shirt so I think it must become our new party ensembles.

Cute! :D And I think all pets have an instinctual mandate to deposit hair on dark clothing.

This past weekend I managed to catch the laundryhuahua in action of unfolding and digging a nest in the freshly laundered sheet that I set on the bed. This specimen was so bold as to actually jump on the sheet as I attempted to put it on the bed without fear of reprisal. Then once I ousted him and began to tuck in the bottom sheet he decided to attack me and jump on my head.
