Jenn, you just go ahead and call your bee Fernando if you want. BTW, I've finally made myself a note to buy some DVDs. Once I get 'em, I'll send you the pics. Sorry for the delay...

Sea -- yay for cash! :7up: So it's now danlo's job to figure out where we're going for pizza in Albuquerque.

Yay! So we just need CovJr. to come as well. And hell....I'll make my two specialty pizzas, or we could go to the myriad of decent pizza places here.

We're going to either Giovanni's or California Pizza, probably the latter... :P

Arinell's on Valencia St. That place is addictive. There's been more than one incidence where I've called Canaan and just said, "Arinell" and he's driven over to get me and then across the city for the crack known as Arinell's Pizza.

Lucimay, the bee kind of reminds me of the prawn kid from "District 9"

Fernando the Baby Bee would make a great WoW non-combat pet.

:shifty:

Going back to the WoW thread now.

That was funny at work today, Sorus. Seriously, I need to start a Bee Addicts Anonymous club however I think I would be the only one attending. It's even worse than I told you. I am writing Fernando dorky songs in my head.... love songs. Maybe I'll sing one for you tomorrow when I come in. The one rolling through my head is morphed words to the tune "Rosanna" by Toto. I seriously SERIOUSLY need psychiatric help. :S :Help: Fernando.... :swoon:

It's doesn't matter my darling, you look marvelous, and you know for me: it's better to look good than to feel good...

*nodding*

I looked up the lyrics to ABBA's Fernando last night, but could not come up with a way to apply it to Jenn's new crush...

Now I've got "Rosanna" in my head! :hithead:

It's 1.43am here and I'm awake (grrrrrr). Welcome to my world of anxiety = can't sleep.

So it should be better tomorrow, right, after I go to therapy and then me and Mr Seareach go to therapy together and then we can ALL FRIGGIN' BE FRIGGIN' HAPPY, right?!?!?!?! :hithead:
[/rant]

All I wanna do when I wake up in the morning is see you eyes
Rosanna, Rosanna

Do you hear the buzz, Fernando?

OK, I will take up the Abba challenge:
  • They were swarming in the air that night
    A pollen flight, Fernando
They were seeking out each bloom and tree
    The honeybees, Fernando
As surely as will nectar ooze
    Let’s not forget
You will never have a truer friend
    Than one named Jenn, Fernando
As for how I am feeling today, I have received news that makes me very, very happy. Can't share specifics at this time, but good things are in the offing!

I usually dye my hair really dark colors in periods of extreme change and introspection. Right after my divorce, during some family issues, etc. It just helps me slip into me relying on just my thoughts to get me by for a little while. I'm looking forward to writing more often. Poetry will be had. The well has been dry for too long.
I was just thinking I haven't seen you posting much lately, then I realized you were prolly moving. Anyway, good luck with the move, school, and writing. And keep us up to date on your hair colour! Mine's strawberry blonde, but God's dying it grey......

Hyperception and I went to the Friends of the Library book sale today.
I scored a signed copy of Martin Yan's Yan Can Cook Book, The Isle of Glass, book one in The Hound and the Falcon fantasy series (I love that series; light reading but I still love it), a new-to-me book called The Temple of HaShem and two of Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children cycle: a hardbound edition of The Plains of Passage and a soft cover of The Mammoth Hunters.

Hyperception focused on getting textbooks to refresh the subjects he is marketing himself as a tutor of. He found seven textbooks, which he puts a value of around $400 on, even if found used in a college text book store. He then also found an unopened CD of Indian-style music he decided to give a chance to.

It happened to be the last day of the sale, when all items are a dime.
So, we got those twelve items for $1.20.
All in all, a good day.

It was an interesting day. Work had its ups and downs. Management was all worked up because we had a crappy audit today. I counseled. I ended up being at work until 8:30 talking about solutions to problems. Then I had a great bonding experience with my co-worker who drove me home. We yammered about all sorts of personal relationship experiences. Well, mostly he yammered and I listened and reacted. It was fun. We sat in the car talking for over an hour. Because of the presence of high up mucky mucks I didn't actually make Sorus suffer through my singing bee love songs today but there is always tomorrow.
