I feel really good today. Like I can run through walls and chew on sunbeams. Maybe it's the water. Or maybe it's cause I stopped taking Xanax. Hmmm.

Maybe the sun
gave me the power.
For I could swim Loch Lomond
and be home in half an hour.

‘Twas there that we parted in yon shady glen
On the steep, steep sides o’ Ben Lomond
Where in the purple hue, the hieland hills we view
And the moon comin’ out in the gloamin’.

Thanks, Fist. Thinking about you got me listening to the St. Matthew's Passion. ;)

By yon bonnie banks, and by yon bonnie braes
Where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond
There me and my true love spent mony happy days
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.

Oh, ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road
And I'll be in Scotland before ye
But trouble it is there, and mony hearts are sair
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.

'Twas there that we parted in yon bonnie glen
On the steep, steep side o' Ben Lomond
Where in purple hue the Highland hills we view
And the moon glints out in the gloamin'.

Oh, ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road
And I'll be in Scotland before ye
But trouble it is there, and mony hearts are sair
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.

There the wild flowers spring and the wee birdies sing
And in sunshine the waters are sleepin'
But the broken heart it kens nae second spring again
Though resigned we may be while we're greetin'.

Oh, ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road
And I'll be in Scotland before ye
But trouble it is there, and mony hearts are sair
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond

And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

Tired, but good tired.
Had a nice bike ride today down to Pier 32 And did some fishin'.
Caught about ninety-seven anchovies.
I'm gonna use most of 'em for bait next weekend in the delta but I wanna try filleting, salting and canning some tomorrow.

There wasn't any wind today.Just a heavy outgoing tide.
Here's the catch.

Yay! To all who are feeling good.

Love to all who are not.

Kitty update: We went back to the vet yesterday and he lost some more weight and was dehydrated again. He also had a fever this time so we got some antibiotics. I also have to give him subcutaneous fluids every other day. I still have no idea what is going on and am very nervous and stressed.

Poor Lorelei and poor Lorelei's kitty!

Loremaster, hope you feel better soon.

Wadds!

Funny thing about those lyrics, Furls -- there's a street in our new neighborhood named Ben Lomond Dr. I have assumed, 'til now, that Lomond was pronounced "luh-MOND". Altho given regional differences, I could still be right. For example, there's a town called Rio Grande, Ohio, where the "Rio" is pronounced "RYE-oh". And in Botetourt Co., Virginia, you might as well park your high school French at the county line; the locals pronounce it "BOTT-uh-tott." 8O

Right now I feel a little frustrated. We are doing this huge job for the body shop next door. Replacing the frame in a 2006 Toyota Tacoma. The body shop supplied the frame and we got the whole truck in pieces all over the shop and come to find out they got the wrong frame. Now I got a lift tied up and a truck in pieces all over....GRRRRR.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Thanks. I was delirious all last night and this morning, so I've only had two hours sleep. I didn't go to work today.
