This weekend I will celebrate my grandmother's 75th birthday, read Universal Robots for my sci-fi class, and become a man-child.

I find men-children much more companionable than manly-men.

I'm working this weekend, as usual.

I'm going to a friend's band practice, where he'll ask me to take photos and do some filming, and where I'll hope to convince him to either turn the vocals up or turn everything else down.

I'll also be going to my first roleplay session in a good couple of months. I'm rusty.

workin saturday off sunday monday. gearing up for bleh INventory.

shoes. i have, thus far, for the last 8 years or so, been exempt from
the actual 4:30 saturday morning call to inventory warehouse and stores.
(2 stores, catalog web whse totalling around 6 million $ worth of mdse)

urg. so far i only have to reconcile my two warehouse location prior
to actual count which is fairly simple cause i'm neat and tidy. :D

but there is an outside chance that i'll have to count next weekend.
i am thusly, getting my area clean tomorrow in the hope that this
will make them love me enough to find someone else to fill the hole
i KNOW will be in the warehouse team cause veronica's been sick and
shouldn't have to do all three freakin locations.
so...god help me, i might have to VOLUNTEER.
yeesh.
she's my friend.

on my side is the fact that no one wants to deal with me at 4:30 in the morning on Bucky's Triple shot vente capuccino drys. heh. ;)

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

Now I know your weeknesses?

Went to game night as usual. We had an extra person come along. I don't know if I'm gonna get lynched for saying this, but there seems to be a critical mass of females to males in a group. Once that critical mass has been achieved, the group will bicker and nag each other until enough persons of the appropriate genders leave to restore the balance. Also, the more you nag us with 'are we done yet?' the longer we take to finish. That's how Magic: the Gathering works. It's insidious. And no one likes nagging. Jessh.

I was supposed to have a riding lesson, but the cold here is making getting up in the saddle problematic. Although it is beautiful today.
What are you looking at?

Go on a quest to various aquarium joints to find a large rock with a big enough hole (or one I can safely enlarge) so that it can then become a larger base for my Devil's Hand coral, which is growing at an alarming rate in my reef aquarium. It's almost as big as a Stop sign when it's fully expanded.
Cowboy: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Cowboy: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ... I don't.

Are you sure that's something you didn't pick up in Fearplane, little Gnome?

Ha! You know, now that you mention it, this is a monster looking type of face-attaching beasty from the Plane of Fear.

Here is lovely Big Bertha. Grown some since this pic.

So EL, you traveled the Dungeons, Plains and Planes of EQ? I haven't played in a while...

I log into Project EQ's emulator Servers whenever I need my EverCrack fix. Unfortunately, with just my laptop, I can only play about four characters at once. Far short of what's needed to raid the planes.

I never got over level 36 in 3 and a half years of playing EQ Live.

[edit] It almost does look like a Tentacle Terror. Just needs Tentacles.

I had a wonderful weekend , a bit sore afterward, but the consequences were well worth the outcome. I couldn't be happier, all in all.
Has anyone seen my keys?
