Notice that for the past couple weeks she has not been quite as omnipresent online as usual? She has been here undergoing a form of internet addiction therapy. ;)

Progress has been encouraging, but there is occasional backsliding. Pantheon results came out recently, and her fellow addict Fist and Faith started exchanging texts with her. Below, we see her texting him back when she should be looking at the approaching Seattle skyline from the deck of a Washington State Ferry.

She returns home Friday, and will probably resume her old ways...but it was fun trying!

I noticed a distinct lack of omnipresence on Menolly's part but its good to see that she was enjoying herself. Hurry back Menolly.

Now if only we can track down the elusive MM :?

How the hell can you put her out on a boat when Pantheon results just came out?!?! Your lack of decency is appalling!!!

Hey, I bet most of you don't know that Xar sent out results last year on April 26th. My wedding day. There I was at the arboretum in the morning, a few hours before the wedding was to take place, making sure things were running smoothly. And then I started getting txts. "RESULTS!!!"

Christy has a strong sense of civic duty, so she agreed to put the wedding off a week so I could get things going. (Although we had to put it off another week, because my bruises hadn't healed, and we wanted the photos to look good.)

And a very interesting turn it was! Among other things, Lady Siria showed up from the Second Age, and I sunk half of Enstorm! Good times! :D

You guys look so cute.... ;)

(I suspect this under-the-radar mini-fest is taking place after a memorial service for Furls. ;) )

Lest anyone get the wrong impression, Menolly and I did not go to the Mountain during this visit.

Yes, her trip west was originally arranged with the intention of enabling us to attend a memorial for Furls. Since we had gotten a really good deal on the arrangements and there was anticipation surrounding getting to meet, we went ahead with the visit even though Furls' family laid her to rest privately a few weeks ago.

When and if there is a memorial / FurlsFest that Watchers are invited to attend, she certainly would like to (and is welcome to!) come back out...but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

One more photo, of Menolly with my son Dam-et and wife Dam-sel.

Looks like fun. What are you guys calling it? Damfest? or Ba-Dam-Men-fest? Today is my last day to work with Sorus at our store. The official paper work etc. all went through last night. I am a department manager and they are skipping my training and throwing me directly into the fire so I report for duty at the Emeryville store on Monday. 8O  Sorus, I checked the tracking and the package has not been dropped off yet so it probably won't show until you are off shift. I will figure a place to leave the secondary item of evil so that you can take possession of it on your next work shift.

Ok, so the first evil device is in position and the second one is in the agreed spot for Sorus to take over. I am almost tempted to set the second one up in a different spot to further the scrambling of locatable beeps and to up the frequency and thus the annoyance factor. All parties who need to be in on it are informed of both how to operate the device and it's present location. They are also prepared to continually deny that they hear anything at all. Sooo tempted to put the second one up.... after all, we even stock the batteries... muh uh ah ah ah....

I also have enlisted the help of a coworker to place and start a spycam to record him with video and audio the next Saturday the JA works because apparently he hates Rob enough that he won't let Rob work dps on the weekend and instead makes Rob cashier and then he tells people the printer is broken and sends jobs away that he can't do. I would have been ok with the simple torture, but this past Saturday he pretty much begged me to take him down so I am. Yes, I am evil but sometimes you just have to be. Cue Metallica music...
In my defense, I have had multiple talks with the person I am about to torment mercilessly and several conflicts in which he admitted he was wrong and promised to change but nothing ever does so he's pushed me to my limits.

Well, I can officially report that they annoyatron works like a sweet dream. I apparently left it on unintentionally when I was showing a co-worker how to operate it. I had put it back into position. When I got to work I clocked in, talked to Ryan a bit since he was at lunch in the breakroom and then went up to my work spot. My boss was at my station and a few minutes after I started working it made the high pitched louder of the two noises and my boss was like, "Did you hear that beep? What is that? Where is it coming from? It's been doing that since I got here today." I said, "I've no clue, I've never heard it before." I managed to keep a straight face. A little while later it happened again and he was like, "Is that Ryan's phone making that noise? I bet it's his stupid phone." I played dumb. When Ryan came back up to dps my boss start's accusing Ryan of his phone making that noise and Ryan denied it and denied knowing what was making that noise or where ir could be coming from. My boss tried looking around a bit but wasn't even close to the spot I hid the device. Another co-worker was helping him look a bit but Ryan took him aside and let him in on the secret. Then the co-worker that Ryan told came up to me and whispered that he knew and i made him swear to me that he would not tell. He swore and laughed. I told him, "I told you I was leaving a parting gift for so and so, I didn't realize I would have the pleasure of watching it's evil powers in action with our boss." He laughed again. Every time the thing went off and our boss would say, "Seriously, what is that?" Ryan would look at me and smile. Then later in the day Ryan and I had a private moment in which he told me he loved my evil mind and that I was f--king awesome and begged me for the spare I had left for Sorus. I gave in. That just means I have to order another set. I think I might try the annoyatron 2.0 which has six noises including a cricket noise. That way if they do discover the original devices then Sorus can just annoy them with a whole new plot. To finish up the story, it annoyed our boss enough that he went to his office to work at which point a co-worker told me he loved me and was really going to miss me a lot. So Sorus, pretty much everyone in the store is in on it and loving it except those who haven't been told and probably should not be told which are B, our boss, the JA, and the cashier team. I love being evil. It suits me well.

Damn, my PC is acting up. Think I need a new power-supply. If I disappear for a couple days, that'll be why.

I love my evil adopted twin sister! That is wonderful. I've told a few people at work about it, and am starting to want to pick some up myself for some of the other teams about.

Sure, it could be a band. Or a movie. But not a film, oh no.
