You can say that again - portals, plague, the list goes on.

Meanwhile, someone has desecrated the tomb of my prophet Trolin just as the tomb of my prophet Rilu was desecrated. Not happy.

What happens if the gap between liege and vassal becomes less than 5 as time goes by?

Once the vassal bond is formed, as long as the liege retains a higher divine rank than the vassal, nothing happens. If the liege's DR decreases to the vassal's DR, or the vassal's DR increases to that of the liege, the bond is broken.

In the fabric.
Of REALITY.

Does no one care??

Maybe I'll just welcome our other-worldy invaders to our lands and laugh as they take over... heh. All that they touch dies, doncha know?

Wouldn't that be pleasant?

Indeed! And, all the while, Malice grows and grows. When will he crack the world?

Personally, I think it's an upgrade. Look at the bright side! No need to worry about malice! OR Vasseldom!!

You discredit me, my friend. If I were to plan something as drastic as that don't you think I would be a little bit more imaginative? Alas, another god has performed that. I would rather transform the world into a paradise, but I fear retaliation.

The last few posts sounded suspiciously like in-game banter... may I remind you ladies and gentlemen that in-game banter is to be placed in the Game Thread? :P Poor Menolly and other watchers like her will get very confused otherwise!
