Really good weekend. I did the cocooning thing. Cooked (and froze the leftovers for lunches), cleaned the whole house, set up a paperwork organization scheme (let's see how long it lasts...), did laundry and put everything away. I even washed all the dishes and put them all away in the cabinets -- I may never find them again! And I did some relaxing, too. Ahhhhh.... I want a 3-day weekend *every* week. (Like that will ever happen.)

I managed to put off laundry yet again. I absolutely positively have to do it tonight.

I had that problem last wek. :) I have a goodly amount of clothes, but there's a good part of my wardrobe that isn't suitable for this job (it requires Corporate Dress). Anyhow, I keep wearing the same outfits over and over, so laundry becomes a problem. Can anyone tell me why man-made materials are more "corporate" than natural fibers? With the pantyhose and stockings alone I think I'm keeping a small Arab nation afloat.

I spent last weekend at home. Saturday, I had my hubby and son with me, and we had some nice conversation. Saturday night, they both flew to NY and left me by my lonesome. :(

Of course you are afraid. . . you don't remember the time I whipped Lore. . . and the results! It was before your time, young man. ;)

If you keep calling me young man, I'm going to start calling you Old Woman.

And I'm not exactly young.

I'm 22.

I remember the Soviet Union.

'kay.

I spent four years of my life in mortal terror that those noises I heard at night were Soviet Bombers.

NOT YOUNG.

Oh, please do forgive me. . . I had no idea of your advanced years! (Though in truth, I did think you were younger than that. . .)

Advanced?! Crap! I'm practically a senior citizen. I should be dead in a few years. You only live twenty years, if you survive the plague. Thirty, if you survive the flux and the French. 40, if God be Good.
