In America, we call them Cheetos. Typically, tho, bathing in them is not required.

No matter what they are called, I know how they are made, why they taste so good, and why they should never ever be bathed in.

I've never found anyone remotely famous who was born on my birthdate. However, the day I was born, was the date of the first ever stage show of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show when it was two-days old (in America) in theaters.
Squirt guns, toast, toilet paper and the other stuff that is usually brought in during the show
wasn't being done yet.

Though I am not certain what has posessed me, I am taking Greek dancing classes. And I will be performing at a Greek festival the week before my birthday.

Planning performances already? Geez, no pressure, huh?
Sounds like fun. Hope you enjoy it!

Congrats to Great-Uncle Cheval!
Lyr, what were you thinking? (Um, probably the same thing *I* was thinking when I signed up for Czech 201.

Classes start next Saturday. Jury's still out on whether I'll take Czech 202....)

Well, considering that my birthday is less than 4 weeks away, you can safely assume I'm freaking out.

I was thinking peer pressure! Three other friends started out with me, but now it's just my friend Caleb and about 10 other people. I was summarily informed that I am not allowed to drop out by our instructor and the other dancers.

Oh, well. . . after the festival we're done with class. And I figure with a little ouzo in me I won't recall making an ass out of myself.
Good luck with your Czech lessons, Ali. . . I love learning new things, so I think it's neat you're taking the class!

Congrats Chevers! I was a great aunt by 26 by marriage. I'm not any more by divorce. My ex husband Jeff was a "change of life" child. His sister was almost fifteen years older than him and his brother was 13 years older. He was thirty two when we married and I was in my twenties. His siblings already had kids grown and reproducing.

When my step-mother gives birth in October, I will be 27-and-a-half years older than my youngest sibling.
