See the new addition to my sig. ;)
Thank you for the illumination, MsMary!! You resurrected a part of my kids' childhood. They would giggle over StrongBad's emails while I made dinner.

Spring break is on... and I am actually enjoying writing a literature review on how teachers can use cognitive framing techniques to get kids to engage with reading more and longer... See, I am a true reading Geek.

Friday night, Julie had the day off (Good Friday) so we enjoyed just hanging out together at home.

The problem with getting up so early for work is that when I'm on leave, getting up at 5am for the cat also means not being able to go back to sleep. :D

Wanting to sit here hitting reload and see if anyone else will show up on the Watch. :) ("When will my friends come out to play?" Oh well, it's been snowing here today.)

Trying to decide if I should create various threads...

Dreading the rest of this week and the next, which will feature 11 days of work in a row. Not unexpected, and it only happens once a year, but still. Not looking forward to it. Especially since it includes working nights.

And I was depressed about coming back to my 5 day, technically 8 hour a day (I do 10ish though) week, with half-day Fridays, after 2 weeks of leave.

Sorry Sorus. :D

I'm experiencing the opposite of hating being "back at work," Av!
(We had spring break last week, so I didn't have tutoring and I took the week off from teaching my own crumb-crunchers at home.)

On the other hand, I have finally figured out why, with homeschooling, I don't always get my kids to get as much done as I'd wish - wow, it's a lot of work!!
