Superman
Take the quickest bus to and from work, knowing you certainly will have to spend an hour standing on a packed coach
or
Add about 20 minutes to each trip, ride backwards to the origin point of the route, and assure yourself of your choice of seat, allowing you to put laptop on lap and either make the hour+ trip productive time, or time immersed in the Watch (or whatever non-work surfing rings your bell)?

I guess I'll take choice number 2 which seems more like me.
Taking a bite and swallowing a mouth full of apple pie and finding half of a large roach clinging to your fork.
Or
Walking all day feeling like there is something in your shoe and when you get home you kick off your shoes and find a large, squished roach stuck to your sock.

Definitely the shoe. I don't like surprises in my food, whether or not they have legs. (But especially if they have legs.)
Soda/beer/etc. - Bottle or Can?

by Cagliostro
Bottle. It is more pleasing when I crush it against my head.
Tiara or crown?

by aTOMiC
I guess I would feel more comfortable with a crown.
Baron or Viscount?

Viscount - more cred
Rich and able to make decisions based on a whim without the need for monetary considerations, but generally unsatisfied with life,
Or
Poor, struggling to make ends meet, and only able to make decisions based on affordability, but with loving and supportive friends and family.

I'm already living choice number two and am content with it.
What blockbuster film would you prefer to see...
Star Wars: Kenobi
or
Mhoram Variol Son

I'd give Mhoram a go!
Andelain or The Shire?

by aTOMiC
The description and reverence for Andelain is unique in fantasy literature. Gotta go with the home of the Wraiths.
"The City on the Edge of Forever"
or
"The Corbomite Maneuver"

by Sorus
I'm tempted to say "The Corbomite Maneuver" just because I haven't seen it as many times, and if offered the choice to watch one or the other right at this moment, that's what I'd go with.
TNG or TOS?

by aTOMiC
TOS just because I seem to be a bit focused on it at the moment.
Galactica 1980
Or
2nd Season of Buck Rodgers

New BSG! Okay, fine. Galactica 1980.
Holodeck or Replicator?

by aTOMiC
Holodeck since we all know entertainment is far more important that nourishment.
U.S.S. Intrepid
or
U.S.S. Defiant

TOS Intrepid or TNG Intrepid? Either way, I'd probably go with the Defiant.
Mirror universe episode or time travel episode?

Gotta go with Time Travel but its a hard choice.
Harlan Ellison or Dorothy Fontana?
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:33 am
by Sorus
Also a hard choice. Harlan Ellison is a complete jerk, but he's also a brilliant author. Going to go with Dorothy Fontana on the off chance that she isn't a complete jerk. (This is why I rarely go to author signings nowadays.)
Holodeck episode or Q episode?

Holodeck episodes are hit and miss with me. Q less so although there were a couple...
Kirstie Alley or Robin Curtis?
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:44 am
by Sorus
Honestly I liked both of them, but Kirstie Alley was the original.
Klingons or Romulans?
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:54 am
by aTOMiC
Something about Romulans. I think it might be because of "Balance of Terror"
Nomad or V'ger?
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2017 11:03 pm
by Sorus
Quite a few similarities between the two, but V'ger was scarier.
Borg or Dominion?
