I love this thread!

You guys always post interesting stuff. Now I've finished my studies I'll probably post more too.

Here's my home-made pond: (spot the amphibian)

Weird story with pictures:
The other day I was taking a break from work in a nearby park, and glanced over at some houses. I was very surprised to see this...
https://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139 ... C00003.jpg
I wasn't quite sure what I was seeing was true, so I went over to investigate. By the time I went around the wall and into the lane it had gone. Disappointed, I turned around....
https://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g139 ... C00006.jpg
It was very tame, and even posed for me a bit!

Not sure why it was there but I have been told they sometimes go travelling in the summer, presumably from an ornamental garden or something, as I'm not very close to Asia.

Very glad I had my camera that lunch break! :D

Those are very cool, Reave! Wouldn't it be cool to live in a place where a peacock just happens by, now and again....

Great pictures Balon! You and your lovely lady looked great all dressed up!

Reave - what a nice thing to find randomly! I wish I could find some nice wildlife around my area! :)

Here are a few I took over the weekend. Nicest day of the year so far and perfect for the wedding celebrations I attended.

Thanks guys.

Chrys: I'm trying to figure out where that is. The sky's definately too clear for the UK. :) (well, it's not been too bad here really)
Great shots!

Sarge: As much as I like the crazy looking horizontal/vertical lines effect together with the trippy quality of the traffic light pics, I have to say:
What the hell? Liquid Nitrogen canisters lying around?
Are they more common than I thought? If so, I want some!

Fist: My housemate is very protective of our veg patch and, peaceloving as she is, will destroy anything that eats our food.
(usually by slugs + salt = bleargh)

Flooding? We have had that happen at work twice - not nice. I hope there wasn't much damage!

Those were great ur-bane! I really liked the bird and the water ones! I'm terrible when it comes to moving things. You did great!
