If I'm getting closer, then I don't get your clue at all.

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Do you rave? or are you blinded by the sunbane?
You are close mentioning what the quote is about: The Bhrathair
Who is talking to whom and in which Chronicles?

so far we have observed this is about the Bhrathair , yes in the second Chronicles....Mayhap it has also made them somewhat blithe of scruple.

Ah. It would be made by one of the Haruchai, probably Brinn, after hearing the story of the Bhrathair from one of the Giants. Brinn would be arguing against going to Bhrathairealm.

WAY to Go Dan-LO! it is sooth... Pitchwife is talking to Linden she asks about this place...Bhrathairain Harbor (Chapter 13 of the One Tree)
You want to have a go?He responded as if he had been chewing over that tale himself. "They are a curious folk-much misused by this ungiving land, and by the chance or fate which pitted them in mortal combat against the most fearsome denizens of the Great Desert. Their history has made them hardy, stubborn, and mettlesome. Mayhap it has also made them somewhat blithe of scruple. But that is uncertain. The tales which we have heard vary greatly, according to the spirit of the telling.

Well guys, if you could really do me a favor...please go ahead w/o me. Actually I knew that (acts all smarty) anyway I'm exhausted from my recent work in Casting the Augury, and from watching 9 and 1/2 Weeks followed by Wild Orchid. Needless to say the lady Tam is now very exhauted and happy too...
fall far and well Pilots!
