Been listening to Stevie Wonder's Hotter Than July album. Has some awesome cuts; "Master Blaster", "Lately", and "Rocket Love" are my three favorites.

But still: definitely lacking the edge and innovation of his "classic era" (from Music of My Mind to Songs in the Key of Life).

Ahh, the Flying Frog Brigade! Man I love Les' stuff. Hey Foul, do you have an mp3 of 'Have a Talk With God' by Stevie Wonder? I'm supposed to be playing that this Sunday. I thought I was gonna do "One of Us" by Joan Osborne, so I went out and got 'Relish', which is pretty good, but I'm not in the mood to buy 50 cds just because a singer can't make up his mind.

The Beatles: Past Masters, Vol. 2

Very essential collection of their singles from 1965 to 1970, most of which never appeared on their regular LPs. Great stuff, like "Day Tripper", "We Can Work it Out", "Rain", "Lady Madonna". The Beatles could've released about two masterpiece albums with their singles alone!

A very moving version of "Ave Maria" from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. Was used to great effect on the TV show.
