If I did that, I'd be doomed, doomed, I say. No flowers on my grave or nothin.

Picture yourself in a boat on the Soulsease,
With puissant trees and viridian skies.
Summoning called you, you answered quite slowly,
A girl with unambergrised eyes.
Inchoate flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the pattern of leaves,
On her gown.
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Uh... Oh...
Followed her down the steepest of stairways,
Where Kevin’s Watch towers o'er the Center Plains.
Curiously, as you entered the Stonedown,
Désuet prophesies rise
Chiaroscuro, the situation,
Not sure you’ll save or you’ll damn.
Andelain wraiths are so evanescent,
Now they’re gone.
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Uh... Oh...
Picture yourself in deep Gravin Threndor,
Where orogeny and roynish foes lie.
Suddenly someone is wielding the Staff’s fire,
The Cavewight’s mansuetude shy...
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Lena on the shore with hurtloam,
Uh... Oh...

Man, I'm torn between Vraith's, dAN's, and SD's...
...but I like all three original songs to begin with.
I think dAN's "I'm Cail!" and "Cail Imperial evanescent Kid" in place of "I'm Rael!" and "Rael Imperial Aerosol Kid" takes a slight edge with me though.
...even if the meter is ever so slightly off in a few places.

Faith Hill's "Breathe"...
www.cmt.com/videos/faith-hill/34011/breathe.jhtml
Faith Hill's "Breathe" a la SRD:
Magical orogeny is in the air
Being with you gets me that way
A starlight chiaroscruro paints your face and I've
Never been this swept away
Thoughts become inchoate curiosity
When I am lying wrapped up in your arms
The world starts to evanesce
The only thing I feel
Is the puissance of your heart
'Cause I can feel you breathe
It's washing over me
And suddenly it's love orogeny
There's nothing left to prove
Baby all we need is just to be
Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby isn't that the way that love's supposed to be
I can feel you breathe
Just breathe
In a way I know my heart is waking up
From bland ennui and mansuetude
Intensity I've never felt before
Means my heart
And your heart
Found a cure for desuetude
'Cause I can feel you breathe
It's washing over me
And suddenly it's love orogeny
There's nothing left to prove
Baby all we need is just to be
Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby isn't that the way that love's supposed to be
I can feel you breathe
Just breathe
Like earthquake's smashing crush
And mountains thrusting up,
Baby, hearts collide to merge in love orogeny
And I can feel you breathe
Oh, just breathe
Magical orogeny is in the air
Being with you gets me that way....
You will all think me foolish, but I put my heart and soul into this, and didn't like the way it looked with extra jazz to highlight SRD's special vocab. However, I have provided a cheat sheet:
Magical orogeny is in the air
Being with you gets me that way
A starlight chiaroscruro paints your face and I've
Never been this swept away
Thoughts become inchoate curiosity
When I am lying wrapped up in your arms
The world starts to evanesce

I like your work but I have to confess that Faith Hill has a special place in hell for making a country blasphemous remake of "Piece of my Heart." Janice did it so perfect it was amazing but while working in Junction City, Oregon when FH's version hit I was subjected to that horrible, ear/brain/taste insulting rendition so many times that if I were to ever meet FH in person I would be forced to bitch slap the crap out of her. I am scarred for life from that song. Actually I would simply take a piece of her heart by plunging my hands into her chest cavity, ripping open her rib cage and yanking out said piece with my teeth.....

Sorry to re-open old wounds for you Jenn.
I am not a Faith Hill fan, or even a country music fan, but I worked in a restaurant in a small town for several years, and country is what was played everyday while I worked there

. That was back when that song first came out.
I saw those contest words, and they just screamed love song at me, and Breathe is what instantly popped into my head for some reason

. I tried to work with a couple of other songs, but Breathe just seemed to be a perfect fit.

Been away on vacay. It's good to come back and see that this is going to be a contest!
A few more days, and then I'll start calling for audience input. Not that there hasn't been any.
Ten Thousand White Gold Dollars is calling ...

We all came out to Montreux
On the Lake Inchoate shoreline
To make records with a mobile
We didn't have much time
Mansuetude and the Mothers
Were at the best place around
But some roynish with a flare gun
Burned the place to the ground
unambergrised, evanescent, unambergrised
They burned down the chiaroscuro
It died with an awful sound
and Puissant Claude was running in and out
Pulling kids out the ground
When it all was over
We had to find another place
But orogeny was running out
It seemed that we would lose the race
unambergrised, desuetude, unambergrised
We ended up at the Grand Hotel
It was empty cold and bare
But with the evanescent thing just outside
Making our music there
With a few red lights and a few old beds
We make a place to sweat
No matter what we get out of this
I know, I know we'll never forget
unambergrised, curiosity, unambergrised
(apologies to Deep Purple)

Nice work everyone. I almost picked "Don't Fear the Reaper" by BOC and turned it into "Don't Fear Lord Foul."
Also excluding voting for myself,
1. Savor Dam
2. Dukka
3. "_____"
You guys have to admit, I wanna know white gold's wild, girl I wanna know the land is real was pretty awesome, can't you just hear Bruce Springsteen belting that out in your head?

I almost picked "You Should Be So Lucky" by Kylie Minogue, changing 'Lucky' into 'Unambergrised'.
She sings "Lucky" about 40 times and at bonus points I'd be sure to win. As it's a voting system instead of a points system I guess I wouldn't have been so lucky after all.

Yeah, I had to pick something to match that tempo and Aerosmith just leapt out of nowhere!
